This is a great size room with a perfect small kitchenette. The bed is comfortable and couch is nice if you actually like to sit on something besides the bed in a hotel room. The bathroom is small but works fine, the balcony is good size with 2 chairs and a table. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It's clean except for the sand that is continually carried onto every surface from going in and out. They are diligent about cleaning this up as much as possible.

This place smells like funk and is covered in dirty and grime. I think this Motel should get Oregons worst motel award. Such a disappointment considering what it could be. Unfortunately this is a place that once was and won’t ever again be anything as long Shilo Inns owns it. Think Motel 6 without a housekeeper quality for Grand Hyatt pricing. No joke. Total dump. DO NOT STAY HERE. Gross gross gross

Terrible

We checked in at night and found that the heater in the main room wasn’t working. We were told we could drive to the other office and pick up a space heater and we did. We ate dinner with our down jackets and hats on. After two hours the temperature in the room had only risen two degrees to 56F. We called again and were told the manager wasn’t in until after our reservation was up, there was another space heater but we couldn’t use it because another guest might want it, there might be an extra space heater we could use tomorrow. No attempt to help us. When we called again the clerk said we were “bullying” her because we were asking for help. Finally, we were told we could leave and we wouldn’t be charged for the second night but we would be charged for the first!!! What motel would charge a customer for a room where the heat doesn’t work? We called to say we were leaving and hoped that we wouldn’t be charged. The clerk again said we would. We left the room spotless except for a couple towels used to clean up.
