I usually go to Rossini's but wanted to try Mr. Bimonte's. I have to say, it was decent. We ordered the Marguerita and all of the ingredients were fresh and good. It was cooked properly and they made it fast. The weakest component of the pizza would have to be the dough. It's on the dry side and pretty bland. Their specialty pizzas are a bit higher priced than other local pizza places. It wouldn't be my first choice for pizza in Cheshire but I didn't mind it.

I stopped here for an early dinner. They have some tables and seats inside. After looking over their menu, I ordered the turkey club grinder ($8.50).The sandwich was ready in about ten minutes. It was good size grinder lightly toasted on a panini grille. It had plenty of turkey, cheese, and bacon. I thought it was very good. They offer a New Haven style pizza and several patrons around me had ordered slices and were raving about it. I think I will try their pizza next time.

As foodies we travel all over and I have to say, disappointed doesn't begin to express our thoughts. We tried both soups, pasta ravioli and meatball, same base soup just a couple ingredients, they were equally poor in taste. The gluten free cheese pizza tasted and looked frozen, sauce blan hardly any cheese. The pepperoni was mediocre. The best thing was the can of tea. Can't believe that the restaurant stays busy, are people just looking for convenience?

Bellagio Ristorante & Pizza

This is a typical Waterbury-area restaurant....Italian, Italian, Italian!!! And what's wrong with that? Nothing at all, especially here. Super friendly service and portions that are enough for two. Their wraps and panini's are huge, accompanied by lots of fries. Great looking Italian and pizza too. Salads are large (even the side salad is large) and full of a lot of good things besides just lettuce. Menu is extensive as is the wine list. A little disjointed in its layout but that's not problematic. Eat outside on the back terrace if weather permits. Reasonably priced too, especially for the amount of food you get. Check it out.

Cheshire Pizza & Ale

Last night we went to have drinks to meet friends at the bar. When we first arrived we were impressed by the atmosphere and how crowded the restaurant was. We were able to find two seats in the corner and settled in quickly. We ordered our first round of drinks from Breanna and they came out quickly and were delicious. As our night moved on we continued to order drinks but from another bartender. I asked her for a glass of Prosecco and my sister in law ordered a tequila soda. After about 5 minutes we got our tequila soda from her; she walked away and proceeded to talk to a group of people at the opposite end of the bar. We continued to wait, and wait. Finally my sister asked Breanna for my Prosecco as fifteen minutes has passed and we could clearly see the other bartender had no intention of retrieving it for me. As time progressed we asked the same bartender for a couple of waters. She said it was “no problem” and walked away. Fifteen minutes later, empty drinks and no water we asked Breanna for the water. She quickly grabbed them for us and took our next drink order. Her coworker, seemed to remember we had asked for the water and came over with two additional waters and said “here’s two more, you might as well have them.” After about an hour and a half into our visit we noticed a previous patron was sitting in their car, in the parking lot for quite some time; long enough to be concerning. One of our friends brought the issues to the bartenders attention, she ignored our first attempt to make her aware. After a few minutes we mentioned that there could be something wrong with the person in the car and the bartender may want to take notice. Her response “why do you care? Just ignore the car.” Considering two of the people we were with are first responders, they weren’t thrilled with their dedication to potentially injured customers. After her careless comment, we left, after being charged for 4 beers we didn’t consume, and went to check on the car. Thankfully the driver was conscious and waiting for someone to pick them up.Although Breanna was great at her job, her counter part was unconscious of her customers and more consumed with her friends than serving. It made our night a complete flop and would not be my first place to recommend to a friend, unless Breanna was guaranteed to be there.

Vespucci's

Reviewed By Becky123q

A few coworkers were planning a lunch get together -and Vespucci location was in the middle- for all - so we went there. I’d heard decent reviews - so I was up for the idea - as I’d never been there Well I have to say their pizzas looked good But my friends - that came with me decided - to try something else. Two are gluten free - so they had Caesar salad with chicken on top - hardly any thing in plate - just romaine and small chicken breast chopped on top My other friend and I saw whole belly clams and was excited - we ordered - and i have to say - for $14.99 lunch whole bellies each - we expected more than 9 clams on mine - and 8 clams on hers We’ve had more clams on a small hotdog roll - in other restaurants and paid less for them. Very disappointed one friend had 2 stuffed shrimp - asparagus and about 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes. And a small scoop of rice We ate them. But if we ever go back to eat there we will get pizza instead We were still hungry when we left. So the 4 of us - in my group - stopped and got Chinese to go - and had that -when we got back to my house. And had 3x the food for 1/2 the price and -had leftovers for lunch the next day -to top it off It’s a nice place -ample parking - very nice waitstaff. But for the price of the lunch menu - and the amount of food you get for it - was not worth it for my group. The others that had pizza loved it there. So I guess it’s all in what you order.
