La Toscana

Like a lot of restaurants in small spanish towns, La Toscana looks nothing special from the outside, but inside it has a homely feel, with lots of Italian memorabilia on the walls. The kids had the lasagne and said was nice. We ordered two but one would have been enough to share. My husband and I had the grilled meats to share with some grilled veg, lovely! Also would reccommed the provolone, yummy!

Even for s family and at an early point of time we really enjoyed the dinner. Excellent pizza, good pasta and inexpensive wine combined with very friendly waitress and good location. A definite 5 stars and "come back" to this place.

La Vecchia Toscana

Reviewed By HenkvandenOetelaar

I went with my family on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. 3 pastas, 1 pizza, and bruschetta as a starter. The pasta was not al dente but over cooked. The bruschetta was a piece of bread sprinkled with unions and a kind of meat and cheese heated in the oven. A creation that you can NOT find in the whole Toscana. The pizza of my wife was burned and when mentioned the comment of the waitress was (who has never been in Italy) that that is the way they do pizza in Italy. This is not an Italian restaurant, the owner is Italian but has adapted to the Spanish taste of the Italian kitchen. A real pity.

We were lucky to have been invited by our local friends otherwise we would have never got here. Professional and friendly staff served the most amazing dishes we could ask for. Salad served with orange ice cream was a unique experience to start with! It was followed by the most tasty aubergine dish I have ever eaten and it actually convinced me to give this veg another chance. Not that I will be able to recreate flavours lol. Lovely pasta - tortellini was amazing but being a fan of pizza, I chose calzone and would love to be able to eat it again. Soooo tasty! Shall I mention that we ordered take away pizzas just a few days later? I wish this place was on my doorstep... All 4 of us were impressed and we highly recommend. Great chefs create amazing flavours brought to your table by friendly waiters. What a fabulous experience! Thank you.

Casanova Espartinas

Reviewed By Elena M

No recomendable.
