Gosh - at the best of times French cuisine can flatter to deceive. This place gave it to you straight between the eyes. Yesterdayâs chips served with a sparrowâs arse of a chicken breast fried to its pitiful death and served in a teaspoonful of nondescript sauce. Food was really nothing special. Are you cooking or micro-waving? Really?And telling us at the end of lunch that you don't accept cards....not good.Visitors should not be seduced by the decor, this place has only been open a year or so, and does not represent the best of Honfleur. Au sujet de refus de carte bleue, c'est écrit sur la façade!!Les clients me voient cuisiner, comment pouvez-vous mentir à ce point sur l'utilisation du micro-onde? ce qui n'est pas le cas.Si vous n'étiez pas content, pourquoi n'avez-vous pas eu l'honnêteté de le dire sur place?Je considère votre critique malveillante.

This newly opened bar served us fantastic drinks. The staff is also great. I had their Litchi and passion, which was awesome for anyone who doesn't like sweet drinks. My husband had their frozen strawberry margarita and it was well balanced with great strawberry taste. We also shared a dish with charcuterie and cheese from Normandy.

Like most restaurants that carry the prestige of a Michelin star, there is creative flair on the menu. We did not sample via degustation what the chef can create so I wont comment on that - I'm sure he is a superb chef. The restaurant is located within an Accor hotel in an odd corner with almost no views - well the balcony perhaps, but you have to stand up to see anything else. This is compounded by the fact that if you're staying at the Hotel (as most do) - its the breakfast room which means any ambience is lost.Given the hotel caters to international guests, I find the lack of English accommodated annoying. There is no English menu, simply a translation by the waiter - helpful but not what I'd expect. Yes I know there's the whole French/English thing but just get over it and move into the current century please! Despite its location directly on the main road between Trouville and Honfleur, this little cafe serves up great food and drink. Run by a couple of UK ex-pats, the kitchen provides a delicious variety of locally-sourced food, wine and ciders. Even though we tend towards the vegan-vegetarian side of the eating spectrum (one of us eats meat, the other does not), our hosts were very accommodating, and adjusted the dishes to our dietary restrictions. Tip: If you do have certain dietary concerns, call or write ahead of time, and they might be able to offer something to fit your program. Reservations are definitely recommended. Bon appétit!
