Casa da Capilla se encuentra ubicada a orillas del rio Ulla, junto al antiguo puente romano "Ponte Ledesma" a unos metros de las 5 bellisimas islas de Gres, uno de los parajes naturales mas bellos de Galicia.Fue reformada en su totalidad recientemente. Consta de 8 habitaciones, restaurante con capacidad para 50 personas, garaje y WiFi.

I booked accidentally and the no cancellation policy was hidden in the detail, not where you would expect it to be located as is the case in other booking.com bookings

Reviewed By Ann GAn amazing converted farm house in stunning countryside. Sadly we were on our own again here and so the place lacked atmosphere. It was also raining heavily and the house felt cold and damp. But the owner gave us a radiator which ensured our room was toasty. Walls were covered in paintings as the owner’s husband was a painter. Amazing collection of piggy banks!! Comfortable bedroom with on suite bathroom. Owner cooked dinner as there were only two of us and it was delicious. Beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. But we did not see it at its best because of the ghastly weather.

Reviewed By sergiomW2108TVFui a cenar con unos amigos y tanto la atención como la calidad de los platos nos dejaron satisfechos. Cuenta con un menú variado aunque hay algunos platos que son ya su especialidad como el galo de curral que nos comimos un producto local que estaba de rechupete. Además también tiene una buena selección de vinos y ginebras. Repetiremos sin duda.

Beautifully restored , comfortable and quiet
Reviewed By packydermThis restored country house was used by our company for an overnight stop on the Camino de Invierno. On the downside it is quite a long way from the Camino but , as part of the stay, a free pick up and return to the Camino was included. This worked very efficiently. The house is mainly stone walls and wooden floorboards. Very atmospheric. There is ample parking for those driving. Set in a small garden which would be nice in clear weather. We had booked a twin room but were given a room each with a jack and Jill shower . This meant we had plenty of space as there was a separate entrance 'hallway' with wardrobes. Dinner was available on request which was simple and rustic. A lovely open fire was lit just for us. The meal was good value and , when we came to checkout, discovered the wine was free! In terms of the surrounding area it looks like there is some nice walking. It is set in a pretty hamlet and there was a restaurant ( not tried) about 300 metres away. There was also a nice riverside area with pool ( summer only) . Breakfast was continental but we were given very fresh eggs. Wifi workd well. Would recommend and would stay again .
