Clean, older hotel
Reviewed By javaheWe had a good time at the hotel, but a few comments. It is a bit of an old hotel, which is not a big problem. But the beds were small and too hard, it gave me some back pain every morning. Also a bit overpriced for what you get. Be aware, no airconditioning but a ventilator. On hot days it can get warm in your room. The room was very clean and got cleaned every day.

Reviewed By Raghda AThe best thing about the hotel is the friendly staff and the amazing lake view. And if you have a 10 min walk from the hotel towards the lake, you will reach a very serene spot at the lake which is totally worth it. Other than that, it's not the best find. It's far from the city center and bus timings aren't flexible and not frequent. So our transportation depended on taxis which was expensive. But that will definitely not be a problem if you rent a car. The rooms aren't the best as well, dimly lit, and the hotel corridors are a bit smelly. The rooms in their pictures are definitely not the realistic ones. But overall, we didn't stay much in the room, so if your aim is to explore and enjoy some serenity and a view then this hotel might be satisfying to you.

Reviewed By Jean2512We booked in here to be relatively close to Geneva airport. The accommodation was perfectly satisfactory. The view over the lake was beautiful. However we were well out of the town. The road to reach the house was had a series of speed bumps on it. My husband was not prepared to drive up and down it to get into the town. As a result we walked but in order to do this you have to be reasonably fit as the path from the lake side is long and steep. We asked the owner for a recommendation for dinner but when we got there found out the restaurant was closed on Tuesdays. Breakfast was good but we felt the accommodation was overpriced.

Quirky Shabby Chic Kinda B&B... A French Experience????
Reviewed By Babyuk76Road Trip Night 5… August 2017 Veyrier-Du-Lac Place in itself was easy to find on the main road. just down the road from a bunch of mini shops…. lakeside popular area… Host was not around, so we parked up went into the property knocked on the door, then went in gave a shout out but no response. Then rang the Hosts mobile she said to return Later supposedly during opening hour... The host herself seemed pleasant, she was just about able to communicate in English. Room was a bit of a shock to our system, it was very basic, shabby chic style i think they were going for the dated look… Bed was creeky to even lean on... Lucky it was only me and the hubby coz The Shower cubicle and sink was in the room itself no partitioning… you can brush your teeth from sitting on the bed… Small toilet was down in the hallway to be shared with guests in other rooms, not ideal for the middle of the night, No Wash basin in the toilet either... Yuck! Thank the lord for hand wipes which we carry whilst travelling. Lucky we had only booked for one night. Breakfast was offered at extra cost which we declined as we were going to head off into the town centre in the morning anyway. She started vacuuming at 8am banging the doors etc… check out was not until 11am…. We had a side room one window opened up to a lovely view of the lake and the other window to the side of the road which was fine for us... unfortunately there was No balcony as initially advertised for our booked room On the plus side there is a parking terrace. Compared to other hotels we booked this was expensive taking into account it was August and they had an event going on in Annecy at the time... Overall ok if the room was ensuite with own toilet not shared and out of the room... and less dust and more smiles…

Reviewed By guy sCamping au bord du lac 4 étoiles, rien ne manque, tout et propre, l'endroit et calme et reposant. L'accueil y est irréprochable et attentionné, le cadre est idyllique. Nous y reviendrons sans aucune hésitation. Amélioration à apporter peut être, chauffage de la piscine.
