Reviewed By Pamela NWe had a lovely lunch here in July 2019. Both my daughter and I have food restrictions (wheat and dairy) and they were very accommodating. Certainly, recommend it for this. The waitress spoke some English and was very cordial.

At nearly 24 years (2018) of business, Hotel Au Bon Accueil is one of the original cycling specific hotels local to Bourg d'Oisans at the foot of the famous Alpe d'Huez, Galibier and Croix de Fer cycling climbs. Its reputation is well know particularly in Dutch and Belgian circles, but used also by cyclists from all over the world. The hotel is also open for the winter ski season with easy access to Les Deux Alpes via the high speed gondola in Venosc. They offer extremely good value half-board accommodation, in a relaxed friendly environment.
A haven in a storm
Reviewed By RebeccaChotardThis place lives up to its name. We stayed here unexpectedly to avoid a storm. The hotel was very welcoming and friendly in spite of us not having reserved. Nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was good. Breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Very international. Beds were comfortable.

Fantastic ski trip
Reviewed By Zoe_EardleyWe visited Chalet Morville and Deux Alpes for the first time this year, as a group of 9 friends. We booked relatively last minute following the lifting of travel restrictions to France from the UK, and would have been happy to stay anywhere to get back on the slopes but we got really lucky with Chalet Morville - it was the nicest chalet we've ever stayed and we've been to quite a few! The chalet is beautiful inside and out, with spectacular mountain views all around. Definitely make sure you go outside and look at the stars in the evening too. The rooms are all a good size and standard - all ensuite with big comfy beds and good showers (one room has a bath too). Jules and Sue were lovely hosts, they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Communication before booking was very friendly and informative - quick responses to all our questions and nothing too much trouble. Jules showed us round Deux Alpes on arrival, and gave us tips of where to eat/ski. One of our party had travel disruptions and arrived on a delayed last flight in to Grenoble, and Jules still went to pick him up from Bourg D'Oisans even after midnight. The gondola transfer into the main resort of Deux Alpes was easy - Jules/Sue dropped us off every morning, and when we were getting on the gondola down at the end of the day we'd call and they would be waiting at the bottom by the time we got down. Having a minibus and a car meant all 9 of us could go at the same time if we wanted to, so no waiting for the other half of the group to arrive. We stored all our ski gear at the rental shop or at lockers in town, meaning getting to the slopes was a pleasant stroll through the village rather than lugging everything around! Food was great - delicious, big portions, plenty of variety on the menu and catering for a few dietary requirements. Fizz and canapes before dinner every evening too, luxury! We ate at Le Cours de Vie restaurant in Venosc on the chalet night off, which was lovely and only a couple of minutes walk away, though there was also the option to go back into deux alpes as the gondola runs late on thursdays if we had been feeling more adventurous. All in all a great holiday, our only dilemma was wanting to ski as much as possible but also get back early enough to make the most of the chalet!

Reviewed By Pimprenelle69230Les chalets sont au nombre de 3. Nous avons réservé le chalet "confort" prévu pour 14 personnes pour 6 nuits à l'occasion du nouvel an. Nous étions 6 couples, chacun sa chambre avec sa salle de bain. Une grande cuisine avec une grande table et un grand salon convivial dans la pure tradition des constructions de montagne. Lave vaisselle, lave-linge, micro-onde, télé, wi-fi. Draps housses, taies d’oreillers, tapis de bain, torchons, serpillière fournis. 2 places de parking seulement par chalet mais possibilité de se garer en contre bas sur un parking public. Sauna sur la terrasse, piscine chauffée en extérieur très appréciés. La télécabine reliant Venosc village à la station de ski des 2 Alpes ne prend que 8 minutes, achat du forfait possible pour les skieurs (50 €) ainsi que d'un AR pour les piétons (6.10 €). Dans la station des 2 Alpes, chez Venosc Sports, on peut laisser son matériel dans un casier fermé pendant son séjour sans supplément, c'est très appréciable ! Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Vénosc, chalet très confortable, pratique, chaleureux, nous reviendrons voir ce lieu en été certainement...

Horrible stay
Reviewed By SimonaflyskyHorrible stay! No bad sheets or towels, no cleaning service available, they saved 500 guarante and 100€ to clean the apartment after our stay! Apartment was smelling like someone was vomiting there! In the end we cleaned the apartment in order to recover 100€ but she saved 50€ because she was not satisfied with the cleaning we did!
