Reviewed By travelserveI love this hotel. Gave it a 4 out of 5 only because it’s a little worn. But the rooms are large and perfectly adequate, the staff is friendly, and the indoor pool area is great. It’s full of beautiful plants and is super relaxing. The best restaurant in town is inside the hotel, and there’s a friendly bar area.

Welcome to Quality Inn & Suites of Portsmouth Ohio. This rural is a rural setting as we look to west the view of the Scioto River Valley and Shawnee Forest. We are 5 miles North of Shawnee State University. Located off of US 23 North on Old Scioto Trail. All rooms feature refrigerators and you can request a microwave for your room. Area Businesses Include: OSCO Industries, Southern Ohio Medical Center, Kings Daughters Medical Center, Uranium Enrichment Plant, Shawnee State University, Taylor Lumber, Coke Cola, Vinyl Craft and Appalachian Flooring. We are the host hotel for the Shawnee State University and also a hugh supporter of the Portsmouth Raceway Park only 5 miles away.

Reviewed By Greengard1Everything was mediocre. Atmosphere is not warm and inviting. Everything worked inside room. Seemed clean. Location is ok.? Fitness center is subpar. Equipment is very old. Staff was about as dull as the environment.

Walls are paper thin
Reviewed By WWBeachnutI would never stay here again. Beer bottles and garbage all over the parking lot and by hotel doors. The walls are so thin you can hear every television, cough and snore etc from each room. The breakfast was low budget. Rooms are outdated. Shower didn’t work.... water constantly dripped and barely came out of the shower head. Mattress was in need of replacement .
