Awesome Hotel and friendly staff
Reviewed By DidierSoulierI had a fantastic time at this hotel, the view over the valley and hill top castle while having breakfast was breathtaking. Plus, the staff speak fluent English. The room was of very high standard and very quiet.

Fabulous cabins
Reviewed By Andrew MI must admit I was a bit concerned about coming here. Although the cabins looked fantastic I could see the site is a very large campsite and was concerned on the location of the cabins. Thankfully the cabins are located in a very private spot near the campsite and the complete site is very tastefully arranged to give everybody their own space and privacy. The sat NAV had a bit of a struggle finding this place and we eventually arrived at the wrong side of the park. I walked across to the hotel to find it complete empty and the adjoining restaurant closed down. The complete site looked shut. We travelled back to the village to get around to the other side of the park and eventually found the reception which was also closed. A quick telephone call to the number on the door was soon answered and we were directed to our cabin. There are two self catering cabins which are fabulous. They have an excellent location and are fully equipped. The wooden bath is quite a novelty and a challenge to fill. There is also a shower hidden away in a very small room to the side of the bed. The toilet is immediately in front of the shower and has less pace than some yachts I have been on. This is an excellent location to explore the surrounding area and a very comfortable cabin. We made use of the log stove as the temperature dipped. Although some parts of the site look very dated and the hotel and restaurant is closed it's a great spot and the cabins are fabulous.

The residence has a swimming pool open from May to September with a toboggan for children. We also have play areas (one exterior one interior) a private lake where you can fishing, a tennis court, a bowls ground. The residence provides 20 appartments and 9 chalets. The wifi is available in each accomodation. 2 rooms are available for renting, big fridges and kitchen are also provided.

Reviewed By TheliaCat and her husband are so friendly and will do anything to make your stay great. We had a nice pitch with a concrete platform to put our tables and chairs on. We enjoyed a very nice swim in their pool which is heated to take off the chill. The toilet and shower facilities are abit dated but kept very clean so no problem. A great little site and 15mins away by car to the Pay de Dome which is a must to visit. We climbed up the volcano and took the train down. Fabulous views at the top.

Great campsite in a stunning area
Reviewed By La_Tour_de_CholletHere for 10 days with our caravan and 2 boys (12 & 13). Site is well kept and facilities good. Pool and lake are a great hit with the boys. It is in a great area to visit with lots of vtt, hiking, lacs and other outdoor activities.

In a family atmosphere, we offer the following equipments: 28° heated swimming-pool (May to September) with a slide and paddling pool, tennis, children playground, ping pong, petanque, soccer and volley ball fields. Many activities are proposed: free kids club (6-12), sports activities, mountain bike rental, evenings, hiking, biking, quad, canoe, archery. Our services: bar, restaurant, take-away, grocery, laundry, TV room, free WIFI at bar and illimited in the whole campsite (with supplement). Rental of mobil-home (4/6 pers.) and pitches for tents, caravans and camper. We welcome groups.
Ok for a couple of nights
Reviewed By wiltshirelady77I wouldn't have said this campsite is a 4 star campsite, its pretty average. We only stopped for 2 nights on our way down to the south of France and wouldnt have wanted to stay any longer. The pitches are all too close together, there are cars parked everywhere and we found the showering facilities a little dirty and basic. Our 2 young sons absolutely loved the pool as it had a slide but my husband and I couldnt get in as it was very dirty. There werent any pool rules or lifeguard so you had groups of teenage boys bombing in a very small and busy pool. I know the pool area was cleaned every morning but my midday is was dirty and cloudy again. As the weather was very hot everybody wanted to be around the pool and there just wasnt the space for so many people. The shop sold basics provisions and there was evening entertainment. It didnt bother us but the music was incredibly loud and went on until late so if you had very small children in a tent you would have had no hope of getting them off to sleep. I thought the price was expensive for the quality of the campsite.
