Reviewed By confused999The room was spacious comfortable modern and provided all the desired appointments. The bathroom exceeded expectations and was larger than most. We had chosen a room with a bath. Very good decision and very impressive room. The food was excellent although the choice was limited. We were disappointed however that there was no room within the dining room the upmarket dining area for hotel guests to eat so there would have been a wait for over an hour to get a table. Clearly the dining facilities are attracting many locals to eat there. This means guests often have to eat in the less quality areas. We did think the meal choices was limited for an upmarket hotel

Reviewed By WilberswarAbsolutely Brilliant We ordered Two Burgers , pizza and salt and pepper squid. Big serves abs flavoursome ! Will be back for sure. Burgers and salt and pepper squid were highlights. The Asian stir fry was huge . Great prices and service. A real gem.

The Morphett Arms is a family owned Business which opened in November 1965. In 2016 we started our latest renovation which is now fully complete and offers the biggest curved screen in our open courtyard, live entertainment on Thursdays through to Sundays and 3 separate dining facilities. We are ideally located in the suburb of Glengowrie. 15 minutes from the CBD, 5 minutes from the beach side town of Glenelg, 10 Minutes from Westfield Marion, Adelaide's largest shopping precinct and walking distance to SAJC Morphettville Racecourse. We have 12 rooms on the first floor. We offer weekly rates for guest who stay for 7 nights or more.
Very, very disappointing meal
Reviewed By gaynorh691Took my Family for a meal on the night of Sunday 22nd August and it was one of the worst meals we have had put in front of us. Sorry but would not recommend this Hotel. Very disappointed. Have been Patrons for over 50 years . Once was one of the best. Sadly one of the worst now.

Reviewed By annajim2016Nice motel, good service, clean rooms, close to everywhere, great pool. Secure carparking, good restaurants nearby within walking distance of motel. Refurbished rooms since our previous stay there. Will be definitely be back.

Are you SERIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!! Beware and avoid ......
Reviewed By swilscotWe were in Adelaide for our daughters national sporting competition.We booked,confirmed and paid 6 months in advance.On the day of check in,arrived at apartment address but no reception or check in contact on site.We finally made contact after 3 hrs of phone call messages then we got a return phone call.We were advised the apartment was DOUBLE BOOKED and to call back later so they could have time to find accommodation. Adelaide was hosting a lot of events so accommodation was scarse. After another 2 hrs of waiting, we were offered a hotel room for ONE night and we were required to call back next day for update,Next morning we called and left messages again for about 4 hrs this time,it seemed like we were being avoided.We then used another phone (different number) to call.Finally we made contact,we were advised no accommodation was available and to call back in 45 minutes to give them more time.We had enough by this time and asked for them to provide a refund as we had found a room or they could pay for the room but the room needed to be booked immediately.They did not offer an immediate refund (7 to 10 days wait for refund) and they were hesitant to pay for the accommodation we found.At this stage we were homeless. We did manage to use a house from a good citizen (friend of friend etc,relatives house)for a night, then found a unit the following day which we had to pay for. How can you be serious ? ,when you book,confirm and pay in FULL 6 months in advance and then the apartment is double booked.Okay double bookings can happen but the attitude of our contact was poor at best.They would not assist us by refunding our money immediately or pay for the room we had found.The stress we were placed under makes it easy for me to say... I will not use or recommend the apartment or the use of Agoda.
