Reviewed By RV22Au Petit Bernerot is not just a Gite it is a hidden gem, which was much better than on the pictures! We stayed for one night using a Smartbox voucher and we really had the best time! Everything was just perfect: super kind and friendly owners/hosts, beautiful surroundings, nice swimming pool, spacious and comfy guest room with a lovely private terrace. And the best was the evening meal: the food (all home-made and local) and the atmosphere around the table, where we got to meet other wonderful guests and it almost felt like we all were big family, having a dinner together. Being an animal lover I also had the best pet-therapy; and I grew especially fond of they dog Floc and a cute kitten Nougatine :) Once again many thanks to the wonderful Berutti family - you are the best!!!

The bungalows are spcious enough and there's the option of individual/private swimming pool altough quite small, but convenient for small children. besides, there are tow bigger comunal swimming pools, one for children and one for adults. There's laundry service and free wifi at reception (wifi available in some of the bungalows payable per day or weeks). Option to rent bycicles. The bungalows are a good, quiet, but basic accomodation option for families or group of friends who want to spend some time located in the beautiful region of Armagnac in the south of France or palying golf in its greens.

A taste of French country style in a refurbished farm outbuilding amidst beautiful plantings
Reviewed By CarolinaBeckyBecause we stayed at Hourcazet at the end of October, it was too cool and one one day too misty to sit outside for breakfast or to wander around the beautiful grounds. Hourcazet is the labor of love of the host and hostess who began with a dilapidated farm outbuilding and transformed it into a B and B that is furnished in a French country chic style. We did enjoy the gorgeous hydrangeas lining the walk, the views out of our windows as we peeped through the window boxes and the beautiful and inviting lounge where we had breakfast. Our family room was large with an easy chair and a small round wicker table with two chairs in addition to the beds and the half-timbered but modernized bathroom. Breakfast features delicious coffee, finely diced fresh fruit, homemade jam and local honey, yogurt, and thin slices of cured meat and a wonderful cheese called Ooseau-Iraty that our hostess said came from the Pyrenees. The hostess is very organized and efficient and one day had time to chat with us as we ate our breakfast.

Lovely Stay in Historical Building
Reviewed By Tracey GLovely old building. Spacious room. Friendly staff. Very patient with our lack of French. Restaurant reasonably priced and food good. Ok breakfast for 5 euro. Reasonably priced. Good overnight stop on the GR65. Sensor light in the toilet can go off if you are in there for any length of time. Our room must have been above where they keep the rubbish bins and we were woken very early by what sounded like the garbage collection truck and EXTREMELY noisy.

Reviewed By Muzi56Chambre confortable et bien équipée située au calme avec une terrasse individuelle. Par contre le petit déjeuner est décevant par rapport aux autres prestations proposées. Loin de correspondre à ce qui généralement servi dans les établissements de même catégorie(3 étoiles) qui proposent un petit-déjeuner continental. Plusieurs sortes de pain , quelques viennoiseries et un peu de charcuterie seraient appréciés.
