A little dated and quirky, but a nice place to stay with very welcoming staff
Reviewed By AFCWThe Boustigue Hotel is a unique and charming place to stay, although you must not expect modern luxury, the rooms are simple, they have not been decorated in a long time, but everything was clean, and everything you need is provided. The bathroom especially was dated, probably 30 to 40 years old, but it was clean and everything worked fine, which is what matters :-) The road up to the hotel once you leave the main road is not for the faint hearted - steep and narrow with blind bends, luckily we never met another vehicle coming in the opposite direction when we drove up or down this road, but if we had, passing each other could have been challenging! Driving to Notre Dame De la Salette is quick and easy, maybe 15 minutes drive. The drive down into Corps much shorter, where there are a number of eating options, plus at least one mini supermarket. The breakfast at the hotel was very nice, breads, cakes, croissants, plus cereals, cheeses, ham, fruit, etc. Coffee made to order by the staff. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and they speak enough English too. Make sure you walk across the garden, behind the swimming pool to check the view down to Corps and the lake, it is simply breathtaking, with the mountains in the background.

Reviewed By Roland dThe Hotel de la Poste is a traditional French restaurant and hotel on the scenic route Napoleon. Corps is the town below Our Lady of La Salette, a Marian sanctuary I walked up to after lunch. My trout was excellent and the chocolate dessert too, providing essential fuel for the three hour hike up to the sanctuary. The glass of white wine helped too. Pricing was reasonable, service excellent. I look forward to a return visit sooner rather than later.

Refreshing stay, just too short...
Reviewed By DAMIANO OVery nice location, rural and infinitely quiet. And with Corps in a short distance, were we surprisingly found 2 very good restaurants ! Hiking in the area seems to be be terrific, whatever your skills are.

Just Right Over Night
Reviewed By Mike RBasically a Motel-style accommodation building in a small off-road parking square. All quite secure and unthreatening. Initial "Reception" requires walking round the corner to an adjacent small bar for registration and hotel entry procedures. There are no on-site hotel services - these are all available at the very popular hotel La Poste close by (which owns and manages the Hotel du Tilleuil) where we were served an excellent dinner & breakfast, in very comfortable surroundings. The bedroom was modest but very adequate and clean with a compact but fully equipped shower room etc. off it. Good value. Would definitely stay over again if travelling that way.
