Reviewed By E-GivaudanHotel located in front of the sea and near of shops area. The "duplex" room was comfortable except the bathroom which was to small to include shower + lavatory + toilets. We didn't use the restaurant nor the breakfast services.

Reviewed By silversurfer6We have stayed in this particular hotel MANY times over the years. It has never failed to be clean and comfortable and everything we needed. I have never had any hesitation in recommending it to friends and family and all who have stayed there have agreed. We liked the upgraded bathroom arrangement this time too. As we now live in France, it is so good to have this hotel to break our journeys back to England to visit friends and family. Thoroughly recommend!!!

Reviewed By Birkdale1Nice traditional French hotel, ideal for short break or stop over as we did. Only 50 miles from Calais. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and the rooms surprisingly good. Quite modern, nice furniture, quality linen, modern en suite. Good location as very central yet parking easy as you can park in the casino over the road for free. Deserves to be a three star really. The hotel restaurant was also very good. As you might expect it is very French, no concessions to foreigners, but I prefer it that way. Plat du jour was lovely and reasonably priced. Would stay again

Reviewed By Davey HEnjoyed our stay. Good price and central location close to the beach. Couldn't fault it! Room was clean and ready for our arrival, additional bed we requested was already set up and they didn't charge a supplement. For the price, you can't go wrong.

A little awkward to navigate to due to the major re furbishment of the public areas to the front hotel, however these are nearing completion and will greatly improve the hotel setting. Very friendly and helpful owners, helped with finding me a space for parking my pick up truck. The bedroom was a comfortable size, with ensuite bathroom and a sea view. Bathroom was good although a little tired. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was the usual continental offering, however there was plenty of choice and lots of it. Good coffee, endless refills from the machine. A good location for exploring Berck and the beach.

Weekend break
Reviewed By Leonard TLast minute decision to visit Berck for weekend break (wife and I) due to good weather predicted. Most hotels were full but Le Voltaire had vacancies. This hotel is in good location, 10 mins to beach and on main street where shops are located. Room was ok, reasonable price no frills. Things like tv in the room are old fashion and a challenge to get to work. Be aware no lift and a lot of stairs, we were on 2nd floor, no good views, but room was clean re fresh towels etc. If your planning a short stay in Berck and just need a place to sleep with no frills this hotel is fine. Staff helpful and pleasant
