We came back here again after last year and were not disappointed yet again, we both had the rib-eye steak on a stone, there was pleny of food on our plates and the steak, well, you cook it yourself to how you want it and eat it hot off the stone as it cooks, what an amazing flavour, the staff keep ypur wine glass full and the owner will often drop over to tables for a chat (especially about cricket!) the music is low and the toilets are spotless. if you do not visit here you will miss out!

Quench sell a wide variety of freshly (as in while you wait) prepared juices. There is a wide menu to chose from, or if you believe you can put together a better combination than the expert owner (which I don't) he is happy to prepare something to your recipe. The juices are delicious, refreshing and no doubt good for you and the service is ultra friendly & efficient.Highly recommended.

My husband is a lover of Speightstown so for his birthday this year I decided we would go for breakfast in the area. Not being familiar with the eating places in the area a quick Google search brought up Island Plates and I decided to give it a try. We were definitely not disappointed and my family will definitely be back perhaps to try lunch next time around in the very near future. There is a quaint quietness to the area and the food and service were excellent - I had the eggs and baked beans, my husband the omelette and my sons had egg and sausage and pancake and sausage. The food is prepared fresh which is definitely a bonus and clearly with attention to detail. Pat (the chef/co-owner) even packed a little something extra in our take away bag as a birthday treat for my husband! :-)Thank you. It was really a pleasure to have met your family.Marie & I are happy that you had such a positive experience with us and that you are already planning your return trip!Enjoy your evening!
