A delicatessen and nice rustic cafe. Plenty of choice on the menu, but we wanted a small lunch so I had the sandwich of the house, and my wife sausage with gruyere cheese. The sandwich was a good quality white roll, with processed hams and good quality cheese. The sausage was very tasty, and washed diwn with really good quality homemade lemonade. Draught and bottled beer available. The burgers coming out looked amazing.

After careful consideration I stumbled into this restaurant and was immediately greeted/served by the wait staff. I had the lasagna mixta and it was absolutely amazing, and only $18.000 COP, which is a great value compared to all the other restaurants around. I would highly recommend, as the pizza looked fantastic too!

Stopped in here for a snack and a beer, I had empanadas that were really pretty small and not as good as others I have had. The beer was cold and the courtyard was very nice, there are a series of craft shops around the courtyard. Overall a pretty nice place, I wish I had been hungrier and had a full meal there.

Average onion soup starter that needed seasoning. A random stray dog came into the restaurant to say hello, and slobbered all around the place. I ordered a medium steak that came out so cremated i nearly cracked my teeth on it. I mentioned this to the waiter, and he got the chef out to question my comment, and chef asked why i had eaten half of it. I explained that it was our anniversary so i didn't want to wait another 30 mins while he cremated another one and wanted to eat with my wife. He said he couldn't see the issue with it and offered a free dessert. Frankly at that point i would rather have a McDonald's postres than his offering. I also asked for a salad with just tomato and onion, and what came out was 95% lettuce and a drizzle of something. If the place was packed i would half understand this, but we were the only 2 people there all night. Although the waiter was actually very good, we heard him being instructed to charge the full amount which we begrudgingly did. Avoid this place as there are so many better places all over this lovely town. We liked the pasta prepared in a Grana Padano cheese, both with chicken/bacon and vegetables. Kids liked the chicken in sauce, pasta bolognese was average. Servants are friendly, but we had to ask for pepper. Nice experience, except for the copycat music in the background. We came for dinner one evening and found, in spite of posted hours, they were closed an hour early. So we tried again the next night, 90 minutes before closing time.The place was empty, and two women on duty. We entered, but neither moved ftom behind the counter. We picked a table we wanted, away from the blaring music in the empty courtyard, then turned to ask if this was okay. One of them asked -- in a way that suggested she was confirming we really wanted to eat there -- if we wanted dinner? We affirmed, "Yes" and she answered, "I thought you were just looking." Could be. But order-taking was similarly challenged, and then mid-way through the meal -- at that point 30 minutes before the posted closing time -- she turned off the music. I remakes it was like a bar where they turn off the music and turn up the lights to tell you it's closing time. She didn't care.What happened, clearly, is that the owners hired a pair of *brujas* to work the night shift and these two wanted to go home early, as they had evidently done the night before. The food was okay; not astounding, but the rude service spoiled the experience. And then we found there is another waffleria in the neighborhood, just east of the main plaza. We'll try that next.

Went with my boyfriend to Villa de Leyva to celebrate his birthday. We chose this restaurant for our dinner and it was a great choice. The menu is short and simple but divinely served. The service is great and thereâs live piano.Would definitely recommend it!
