Firsst of all: this restaurant charges pretty high prices, You may judge based on this fact...In December 2017 my brother and his future wife visited us here, and having known the place under ther former ownership we went there to have a "find dinner". The first negative surprise was that the menue was only available in Catalan. Asking for a spanish or english menue I got the answer that "Teia is a catalan village"... I asked for the responsible person and she promised spanish menues for the next visit. Here You might have to know that the waiters were latin amerikan, the responsible person in charge wass from Andalusia and the owner of this place is Dutch.... Second experience was the inability to serve all dishes at the same time, so some had to wait. The best was, that the fish my wife got (and was told it would be fresh).. had an intense taste of ammoniak.... in a nutshell, not eatable. .... the invoice anyhow was pretty high and as compensation we got one (!) coffee... as I said in the title.... never again...........ungratefully one has to fill in at least one circle in Trip advisor....

Parked up outside and walked downstairs through the terrace area to a very nice restaurant overlooking the Alella hills. Menu del Dia for 18 euros was excellent with plenty of choice although many dishes carried an additional cost. The food was very good and the house red wine excellent. Very to happy to recommend, we will be back soon and definitely when the weather gets better as eating outside will be lovely.Service was excellent and the waiter was very happy to translate the menu to English. Many thanks and hope to see you soon.

Flappers Food & Jazz Club

I had spotted this relatively new restaurant/bar/jazz club at the port a few weeks ago but not had the opportunity to visit until now. With the kids away we had a date night! But despite the good looks of the restaurant many things are simply below par.The place looks great. Nice design, colours, layout with a small stage and house instruments in place. But when you enter inside the main building there is an immediate strange smell - cleaning fluid or bathroom smell that is quite off putting. But we stayed as we really wanted to give this place a go. From 2045 to 2200 we were the only table then another couple turned up. Wine is very limited in selection but we had a bottle of Rioja at €20 that was very good. Food is grossly over priced though and not that great. I had cod fillet and my wife pork fillet in mustard sauce. To our surprise despite the price the portions did not include any substance - the fish simply in a sauce and nothing else whilst the pork had mash. The cod had so many bones I could not tolerate so had to leave a lot of it. The pork was better but again for the price was not good. But the real kicker is that when my wife tried to advise of our disappointment (yes my Spanish is very poor) the waitress was indignant and said that she couldn’t possibly complain without having tried the food. I’m not sure the waitress will last that long with this attitude! Why does portion size and lack of accompaniments have to do with trying the food? Maybe the food magically expands on contact with the mouth? Well we ticked the box and tried a good looking place to find it is not worth having dinner there. Maybe when they have bands playing it might be nice to visit for drinks but I suggest avoiding the food. And as for the server....!

Deserts were also made by them and superb... we will come back again for sure next time we are in town. Thank you so much for your opinion. It is very important for us to know what kind of experience have our customers to improve day by day. The next time you come back with your family, we will be happy to welcome you again.

A thursday they offered for 11.50 menu. 3 starters three main courses and three desserts. Acid olives in advance. Either we choose as a starter for a tortilla with black sausage. Small portion, well spiced, unfortunately the bread slices are toasted too hard. Main course we choose the paella, good flavor, and chicken strips, light coated and with a honey-mustard sauce. Good flavor, while fries are not that crispy. Good fries a real a problem in Spain. Chocolate cake with whipped cream homemade so nothing wrong with that and macedonia of fresh fruit. An excellent coffee. Good food at a good price, but portions rather small
