I picked up take out at China Chef last week. It is small with only a few tables in the front of the restaurant, a standard Chinese take out restaurant.Shawna ordered the cream cheese wonton, which is similar to the Crab Rangoon offered at other Chinese restaurants. She enjoyed it very much. For her entree she had the steamed chicken and broccoli. She thought it was okay, nothing special.Crista ordered the house special fried rice. She indicated that it was good.I had a combination plate of pork and broccoli, which came with an egg roll and pork fried rice. The pork was a little tough and the broccoli was so-so.As long as your expectations are not too high, you probably will be satisfied with China Chef.

We ate here last year while staying down the street, and everything was really good. We returned this year, and once again, everything was very good! We had sesame beef, mixed vegetables with garlic sauce, vegetable lo mein, crab rangoons, won ton soup, and burritos: all great! We recommend this place to others looking for some yummy Chinese food!

This is a nice place to eat-in or get carryout from. The sushi is very good, fresh, and very reasonably priced. Especially if you get the three roll lunch special that I believe is only around $12. The Miso soup is great, as is the egg drop. All the Chinese entrees I've had have been very good. The Kung-Pao is especially good. The curry chicken is very good too. Like other Chinese places, around here at least, the "hot and spicy" dishes are not really hot or spicy, but are good nonetheless. Definitely worth a visit!

Judy, is such a hard worker. Judy is the owner,worker and a GREAT MOTHER! HER staff is always working hard to ensure that each order is fresh and tastes great. At this time I would like to acknowledge these men and say thank you. Of course, Judy is working right along side. I have watched Judy's children always helping their mother, but not before they finish their homework. Her children Angelina and Oscar are very polite, professional and respectful! They always say hello and always have something nice to say. Ever since I first stepped into this wonderful,most tasty restaurant 3 years ago, the food has only gotten tastier and I thought it was perfect 3 years ago!! Thank you to Judy, your family and your staff. I hope the townspeople, whom have not tried this restaurant, should run don't walk! You will be very satisfied! God Bless Hunan Garden and I wish you many successful, happy years !

I had the Sushi and Sashimi combo (take out). The portions were generous and the presentation was nice. However, much of the fish smelled "fishy." I get it -- sushi is fish. But I eat a lot of sushi. And if you do, too, you know what I know: sushi is not supposed to smell fishy. I ate about half of the meal and the rest went down the disposal, along with the miso soup that I had explicitly asked not to be given.

Craving some good sushi is part of the beach, so tried this place. Kids started with the Sparkling Peach sake, which they enjoyed, and I had a nice Pinot Grigio. Kids had a nice Miso soup. We shared the Alec roll, M-16, and Godzilla roll, as well as the spicy yellowtail roll and the mini-star roll, all FABULOUS! Ended with a bowl of the Mocha ice cream, wonderful meal in a former Perkins restaurant! Somehow the decor worked, it is very nice. $140 before tip with alcohol for 3 adults. Enjoy this place!
