Reviewed By renatamL1160DFAsked to pay $15 extra for parking. Receptionist kept calling me Ma’m. Had issues with Wifi. No hangers in wardrobe. Loud music on a Saturday night after 10pm coming from The Rock restaurant & bar downstairs. Scratching noises could be heard in the middle of the night. Could have been mice/rats or coming from room next door. Took forever to catch a lift downstairs at 10am (checkout time).

The Flying Spur Motel is under new management since August 2016. Free wifi and bottled water has been introduced. All rooms have air-conditioning, 42" flat screen TV's with free to air channels, microwaves, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, tea/coffee making facilities and an iron with ironing board; hairdryers and pool towels are available on request from reception. The Flying Spur Motel has Single, Queen, Twin and Family rooms available. One family room consists out of 2 rooms with an interconnecting door. The Flying Spur Motel is proud to provide guests with affordable comfort.

Reviewed By robynn351What a great find in Toowoomba. Well located ( a short walk to Whyalla Plaza shopping centre) and great service. It is an older style family run motel which makes for a more personal feel. The rooms are dated, but super clean with great amenities. Most importantly, a comfy bed. We'll stay again when next in Toowoomba. Thaks Flying Spur.

The rooms are modern and clean, the common spaces are tidy and the gardens are well cared for. The staff are lovely and were most helpful by entertaining our boys (6 and 9) through the onsite babysitting service. Meeting Doofus and Elle was the highlight of our trip to Toowoomba for our boys. Thank you. We will definitely stay again.

This older hotel is managed well and suited our needs with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Restaurant was closed currently. Managers were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Blankets in room were so comfy. They provided a tray of dishes cutlery when we checked in which was nice. Was busy little place but quiet and comfortable.

Reviewed By johngR2964KJWe held my mums 80th Birthday at the hotel with a lot of family members staying the night at the motel. Accommodation was clean and tidy and function was wonderful. Staff were super helpful and food was plentiful and delicious. Thank you

Extra large 2 bedroom self contained units, close to the Toowoomba Base Hospital, shops and takeaways. All units contain their own washing machine and clothes dryer and a large plasma screen TV. Kitchens have a large refrigerator, double sinks, microwave, hotplates. All cutlery and crockery and bed linen is supplied.
Disgusting
Reviewed By jok526The rooms were dusty and felt dirty, no covid clean between guests. The tea towel was filthy and stunk. The courtyard had dead weeds and was unkept. There was a ceramic pot with cigarette butts in it so if you ooened the kitchen window all you smelt was cigarettes. The shower didn't drain properly so the water over flowed into the bathroom floor. The electric frypan had both handles broken and no knob on the lid so very dangerous to use. The vertical blinds don't cover the windows properly so no privacy from people walking past. The key holder for the aircon was high on the wall behind the couch, the only way to reach it was to stand on the couch, not great for older people or people with disabilities. Overall a very dirty and smelly place to stay.
