This was the night before the wedding meal for our family after having driven half the day from London to be here for this dinner. On top of it it was our special day after Ramadan known as Eid and did they mess it up. First they sent a new waitress who did not know what she was doing. A table of 21 persons need separate bills but she would not listen at all. So the order is taken and by 9pm no food. When I asked the 2 owners I am told we are busy and will get to you remembering we had 6 children meals and the children at this point they are upset and literally screaming for their food. Then another waitress comes saying the other waitress is new and now she has to take the whole order again so by 11pm now we start getting the food. But again all orders are wrong and upside down. The 2 owners won't even come to sort the mess but yet all other tables are getting their food....even though we have complained..what awful food disgraceful service and given few chicken and steaks blue

We stayed overnight in Saint Brice Sous Foret at the last minute and found ourselves faced with a choice of outlets in the vicinity. From the outside, the restaurant looked inviting and casual which was a major factor in our choice. The menu posted outside was easy to understand and decipher, despite my limited French!Once inside, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly then given a 'Welcome' appetiser. Our menus were swapped for English ones as soon as the staff noticed our difficulties with the traditional one and the staff spoke to us in English throughout, encouraging us to try our French!The food was grilled in front of us and was beautiful. Very impressed with everything about our experience here! :-)
