I wish I could go here more often to eat. We ate lunch here, and were really impressed. The spoke enough English for us to communicate. We ordered the ham and pineapple (amazing), a chicken leg (very tasty), toast with garlic mayonnaise (very good), and a salad (good). Every bite was amazing.

This is a typical Catalan restaurant, serving fantastic grilled meats. IT is fairly run, very clean, with excellent service and very reasonable prices. Look for the Menu del Dia Monday-Friday - weekends is a la carte. Outdoor patio available with comfortable tables and chairs, indoors is bright and airy and the grill is placed perfectly so that it is not a bother. We went there to "almorzar" at 9am on a Saturday, and people were eating and drinking like it was Saturday evening!

I'm afraid to advertise this place because it is already full and if people discover it, it will be crowded for ever!. Good service, clean place, nice price, catalan typical food, visible kitchen, all griiled (even soups!)...It is one of my favourite place for a normal lunch. Not the right place for a romantic date but amazing for normal day lunch. They never disapoint us. I don`t spetially like the grilled artichokes there, but the rest is all fine.

Search the streets of badalona and you will find this little gem. Lovely spanish rustic theme . Great value tasty food. Creme catalonia excellent. Had a very enjoyabe night , delma? Or thelma?was excellent and made us feel at home. She could not speak english but she had a great way with her, an asset to the restaurant. Muy bien!

This out of the way restaurant is very popular with people on their lunch break and locals, the food is very good, simple, well prepared, and the menu changes every day. The portions are very large. The service attentive, friendly and helpful. By two o'clock there is usually people waiting outside for a table.They only have a menu del dia, which may or may not coincide with the blackboard outside, but your server will explain. The portions are very large but you can order only a half menu, which for most people will be enough.

Baires was the restaurant high point of our stay in Badalona. The first time we visited, we ordered a mix of meats for two to share and loved both the meal and the helpful, friendly service. We chose a table on the terrace which was a lovely cosy spot, being enjoyed by other couples and a family with small children. The grill came with a lovely fresh salad and chimichurri. Please excuse the spaces on the grill in the photo, it all smelled so good I immediately started eating and only later realised I wanted to review my great experience!For our last night in town we chose to return for entrecote steaks, this time with Empanada and Patatas Baire starters. Yes, it was a lot of food; I regret nothing. Once again both the meal and the service were wonderful, including a bottle of wine we paid less than â¬60.I would especially recommend...oh who am I kidding. The morcilla criolla stands out as a great example of black sausage, but honestly you can't go wrong. I would happily recommend Baires to all.We appreciate your time in writing your opinion and we are delighted that you have had a good time. Thank you for recommending us to the other travelers and we hope to have you again on your next visit to Badalona :)
