As a regular customer, if you’re looking for a good breakfast or lunch cafe, Brenda’s is your place to go. Good breakfast variety including fresh fruit, and good sandwich and dinner options for lunch. There usually is a lunch special. Lots of local regulars which is probably all you need to know.

I stopped in and enjoyed a really nice hot latte in this very comfortable and relaxing cafe. They have a traditional dining/seating area as well as a living room style area to relax in. Free Wi-Fi is offered. They had a variety of baked goods available as well. The service was friendly. I'll be sure to stop in again when I'm in Bolivar.

Great food - fried deviled eggs with caviar as an appetizer! Quiet, nice environment. Great place for an anniversary or meeting friends. Hard to find - it’s behind Kathy’s Pasta restaurant, but worth it. The chicken Marsala was delicious.

I have been here about four times now and I have had a variety of different things from breakfast items to lunch to dinner. And every time I have been completely unsatisfied!!! First of all winter or summer if you are lonely, not to worry you will not be alone!!! You will have anywhere from a single fly to 15 (I counted!) buzzing happily around you, landing on your food, sitting on the edge of your cup, and crawling all over the table!! Of course I shoo them away as quick as they land, but heaven help us all!! What’s happening in the kitchen!!!!Second, I’ve had chicken fried steak with gravy and a dollop of mash potatoes that were cold. I’ve had a salad that was warm!! And I will say that the Breakfast was definitely better than anything I’ve had their before!!! It was actually warm. And finally....the service. I realize that sometimes at these Mom and Pop shops the service is only going to be as good as the hired help, but I think some training can go a long way!! Literally are waiter the last time was there was standing watching us and he kept glancing at his watch and we were on a date and had barely finished our food!!!! I guess because I was a waitress, I can tell you that that is not acceptable service!!! I might try to give another go or to, but oh the place just feels dirty!! And I find it hard to swallow my food when you can look around and visibly see dirty tables, dirty seats, dirty glasses, dirty silverware. It makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. It would not be my first choice in town. And in all fairness to the restaurant: the parking lot is always full, so there are people in town who obviously either are settling or really do love the place!!

We were there to celebrate a birthday. The service was okay. I ordered the bbq ribs and it came out dried and cold(overnight leftover). My friend had their WORLD famaous pork tendelion which was coated in maybe 10 layers of flour coating thus the LARGEST pork tenderlion. It was crispy and the meat itself is like cardboard thin and deep fried'
