Service was good and prices were reasonable, but the food was only average. The buffet had afairly limited selection of items.

We had been in Bayreuth for some shopping in the bike shop below the restaurant, and as it took as longer than expected, we ended up quite hungry in the "Gourmet Temple". Well, the food was actually ok, the prices for the buffet too. But the next few hours and the next day was horrible, as we both had digestion problems. I guess some of the sushi or the fish hadn't been fine or something. All in all, I had way better Chinese food in other restaurants...

We have eaten here several times, driving from Auerbach. Having spent 12 years in Japan, we have eaten some fabulous Japanese cuisine. This is the best around. The sushi is wonderful, and the tempura perfect. A friend pronounced the chicken S goof as any she had eaten in Japan. The owners are Japanese. We haven't been over here for a while, so I think a return trip is on the agenda soon.

We visited Bayreuth during the Bayreuth Festival this summer. We stayed 5 nights in the city and had dinner in this restaurant 3 times. We tried sushi, tom yam gong, seafood dish and vegetarian dish. They all were delicious, and they're not expensive!!The staff were nice and efficient. We had a great experience here!

Small restaurant but amazing food! They have a buffet eat as much as you want. I went for the Bento box and was surprised with a delicious red Thai style curry, rice with two chicken skewers, 6 california makis and 8 little pieces of cucumber and salmon makis. Fulfilling and delicious. Totally recommended and well priced.
