Yes, I took my Ex-wife out for her 72nd Birthday Luncheon. It has become a tradition of sorts to take her out for a Lobster Lunch or Dinner. This year she chooses the Outback Restaurant in Ocala on #200. We were a party of 3 and with tradition comes the birthday drink along with a Lobster pairing. Our Waiter was "Jesus " and very attentive. We started with the Blooming Onion and as it turns out its Blooming Monday so the Blooming Onion is free if you mention Blooming Monday. He brought our drinks, two beers, and a special Blackberry cocktail for the Ex. We all three elected to have the Surf & Tuff. A nice size Lobster Tail paired with a medium size steak, cooked to perfection. The guys ordered Steam Veggies while the Ex enjoyed a Baked Potato. The guys ordered a Side Caesar salad which was prepared deliciously. The Ex was afraid to have a salad for fear it might be too much food. The bread continued to come to the table all nice and warm with fresh butter and complimented the salads as well as the main course. While seated the manager ( Christa ) came by to make sure all was well and that we were happy with our service as well as our meal. In true form, the waitstaff arrived at the correct moment with a miniature Thunder Down Under with a candle and began to sing to my Ex's embarrassment. I wouldn't have had it any other way. We finished our meal with a FULL SIZE Thunder Down Under. Our waiter " Jesus " caught a charging error where the blooming onion was not taken off the bill and because of the excellent service I made sure he was well rewarded with more than a 20% tip. Good service should always be rewarded. They work hard for the money.

Fish Fry Friday...hmmm let's start with the fish, beer battered and soggy with grease. There is more batter than fish. Cole slaw tasted a bit soured..sent it back. Endless salad was o.k. but not enough green lettuce in it. Service was o.k. Everyone at the table had the fish and everyone else had the same complaints..greasy! Hardly anyone at the restaurant at noon-thirty. Manager Colin came by the table to ask about food..didn't really have a response to the greasy complaint. Handicap accessible, restrooms clean and tidy. Small bar area, full service. This was our second visit to this location..you may want to look on down the road for an eatery..Red Lobster and Outback close by. I would prefer to give a 2 1/2 rating..

We don't frequently eat at 'chain' restaurants, but decided to because of the special on lamb chops, and we were very impressed. Excellent service, salads were out in 5 minutes, entrees in 15. The lamb chops were very flavorful, though a little on the small side, and 4 not 6 like in most facilities. They were well prepared and the accompanying spinach was excellent, as well as the mashed potatoes. The bread was great, and overall a very pleasant experience.

We've spent our August anniversary in romantic locals like Hawaii, Jamaica and Aruba. We stayed close this time and enjoyed our Sunday brunch at Ipanema Brazilian steakhouse in Ocala. We arrived around 11:30. They have an omelet and waffle station in addition for a huge international soup and salad bar and several hot entrees (beef stroganoff for example.) Our waiter was prompt with water and complimentary Bloody Mary for my husband and Mimosa for me. My husband advised our server that it was our anniversary and our meal was finalized with a complimentary dessert to share. We decide on the Rodizio upgrade where the skewers of meat (beef, pork and chicken) are brought to your table. This is an all you can eat experience and we had brought our couples group there several years ago. Every item we tasted was delicious and we do love when the manager comes around and greets the patrons directly. They do have a party room, take reservations, and seat just over 150 people. Everything was immaculate and my husband had a view of the kitchen.Susan, we appreciate you taking the time to leave us this detailed review. The food here is excellent. We ate here for a special adults night out and both our meals were excellent. Sky also just catering for events and my wife's work had their catering a few months back. It was the best catered lunch that ever had.

Great steaks! The rib eye could have been easily split. The soft shell crab special was a bit over breaded for our tastes but still delicious. The sides are also large and sharable. Some of the best cauliflower sides we ever had. (cheese-ily delightful) Service was outstanding. If you're a couple be sure to ask for booth seating. Can be very romantic!
