My partner brought me here for a late birthday dinner. We ate here once at the previous location and really liked it and I wanted to see the new space.We arrived on time and were sat a nice table by the window. The decor of the restaurant is starkly different from the past location that was intimate and cozy. The new decor is more industrial and has these strange ropes hanging from the ceiling which feel out of place.Our server was friendly and brought out our drinks shortly after we ordered them, followed by our guacamole which was mediocre but very small and expensive for what you get. Once we finished our appetizer we waited a very long time for our dinner and our server seemed to vanish. After about 20 minutes our dinners appeared on the table and were ice cold as seemingly they had been sitting under the heat lamps for quite some time.We couldn't find out server and just decided to eat what was in front of us, which was a cold and tasteless quesidilla some overly spicy pasta dish that I couldn't finish because it was overpowering.We left the restaurant very disappointed and a bit upset as this is not an inexpensive restaurant and felt like we got ripped off and it was a very disappointing dinner.I should have written this review sooner, but never got around to it. Stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Although itâs small and a local watering hole the food is very very good. I highly advise getting one of their combo plates to get the most bang for your buck.

I was surprised at how small the inside of Los Sarapes was. It's very quaint, nicely decorated, warm and comfortable. Service was excellent and the food was very good. I had the flautas and the presentation was just as good as the flavor (they were very crispy too which was great because sometimes they are overcooked or soggy). In our search for good Mexican food in the region, this was above average. We will return.

Had a business lunch here. Loved the freshly made guacamole and the flatbread type starters. Peopleâs fish tacos looked amazing. I had their vegetarian quesadillas which were generously sized and very delicious (yummy corn tortillas!)Nice decor and good value.

Fresh-pressed tortillas. The finest ingredients. Perfectly mixed bites. Better Built Burritos are in a league of their own. Standing tall as they are proud, tasty as they are sturdy. Standing boldly above their lesser-built burrito peers.

I'd tried Pancheros in Iowa years ago and had a positive association with the place, so thought I'd give it a try on a Saturday night. Evidently, they had recently opened this location and the place was doing a brisk business, but tables were still available. There's a lot of Mexican fasual restaurants these days, so it takes a lot to break through the noise.Pluses: Burritos are huge and I really like that they mix the ingredients before folding. The fresh tortillas are a game changer and really hold up well, while having an excellent taste. The queso dip (as a side, not on the burrito) is vastly superior to other places.Minuses: The tortilla chips are mediocre. Normally I love blue corn chips, but these are just plastic and flavorless. I was expecting more flavor and spice in the burrito - it was a little flat.Overall: Pancheros is no better or worse than any other quick serve Mexican place. It's nice to have something a little closer to home. I will come back.

Found this place after being in the area. When we got there it was hardy full by the time we left people were waiting outside on this nice spring night... From the outside I was a little hesitant, but so glad we tried it. Great service and great food... :)
