I stopped in for a quick dinner and had a table in the bar area. I found the environment to be fairly typical of a Mexicant restaurant. The service was good but not overly friendly. The food was pretty good, above average but not as plentiful as other restaurants. I also found the pricing a little higher than others. I liked it but wasnt blown away. No reason not to go if you are hungry and it is close.

Our first time, invited by friends to the LARGE and beautiful place incentral Chester. I especially loved the ambiance......we ordered thetable BOWL of guacamole, excellent (my FAV) my hubs and I sharedthe steak fajitas with corn tortillas........all was very good as was theservice...........We will go back ESTA MUY BUENO!!!

Driving back to my hotel last night I saw this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant has a neat, modern design - not the typical Mexican design. The staff were friendly. My server was attentive. The menu consists of so many items that it took me several minutes to figure out what I wanted to try. The food was very good. Prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking next to the restaurant. At about 6PM on Wednesday there were many customers as well as many empty seats so the facility can accommodate a lot of hungry folks.

Wonderful Mexican Restaurant and delicious guacamole. A large portion for an appetizer and was made to perfection. Chips were nice and warm and crisp. Salsa was very good and love the white salsa as well. No complaints here!

When I asked the front desk attendant about Jalapenos which I had spotted as I drove to the hotel, her eyes lit up. She said it was really good. Indeed it was delicious. The servings were plentiful and the entrees were prepared well. I recommend the build your own combo as it offers a lot of flexibility. Another in my party ordered a platter and was also pleased.

Given its high Chester ranking in TripAdvisor we decided to eat at Don Pepeâs. The following are what we liked and didnât like about the restaurant:Like1. Extensive menu with authentic foods (especially the Burrito Cancun).2. Good selection of beers and tasty margaritas.3. Reasonable pricesDidnât Like1. We never never received chips and salsa, as did all of the other tables around us.2. The waiter tried to clean off my wifeâs plate when she was only half done and had just finished putting her fork in her mouth.3. We had a very difficult time communicating with our waiter. In summary, if we were to base our review solely on the food it would have been higher. Unfortunately, Don Pepeâs fell down significantly on the service we experienced.
