Because this was not a usual TB experience. The food was ok, service was fast and friendly. Tried a couple of the new $1 items - liked them. But the ice tea brewer was not working. The root beer was too weak to drink. The Dr. Pepper was too flat too drink. The ice machine wasn't working.

Nothing special here...was clean, tasty. There are simply too many options in Athens, esp near campus that are much better. Probably wont return.

When traveling, we look for Chipotles since we've never been in one that couldn't provide a safe gluten free meal. This one was no exception. We went at 5:00pm on a Sunday night and even though it was busy, Tyler and staff made sure to change their gloves, spoons, etc., and use fresh bins of lettuce and cheese for our burrito bowls.

This is a good restaurant for fresh food with an accommodating chef. Two of the diners requested special ingredients and the chef had no difficulty accommodating them. This is good Mexican dining.

Stopped on our way through on an impromptu trip that took us through Athens. Mexican cuisine is one of our favorites, so we decided to give them a try. Fabulous streak served on sizzling pan smothered in a creamy cheese. Large burrito for the husband that was also very yummy. The refied beans were none like I've ever had... Usually they are just a filler, but these folks somehow packed theirs so full of flavor. It was worth the visit just to taste the beans! Great service and food alike. Stop and visit them!!!!

I have never had a bad meal or bad service at Casa. My favorite is the Chimichanga but my sister always orders the burrito. Every day, there are "vegetables of the day" which you can choose as one of the fillings in your chimi/burrito along with beans, choice of meat, etc. Salsas are fresh and made at Casa. Carry out is good, too!
