Place O Soleil is a good bet if you wanna have lunch in the center of Thonon-les-Bains. Everything is home-made by the friendly and welcoming owner and the ingredients are very fresh. You can eat outside on the terrasse if the sun is shining, the restaurant is located in a small and quiet street. The place is also a grocey shop with a large choice of high standard Mediterranean food: stuffed tomatoes, healthy salads, pastas, cooked meat, italian and spanish wines, feta cheese and excellent olive oil. The down sides might be the fact that it is a bit expensive, and also that the choice of dishes "a la carte" is limited. But otherwise, it is a place I would truly recommend.

We have been frequenting this restaurant now over the last year since we stumbled across it. Excellent Italian food as it should be, with friendly service and open everyday. Can't fault this food and feel almost guilty holidaying France and constantly going back to an Italian restaurant but always guaranteed a taste of Italy

Very good Pizzas. Lots of toppings, which is sometimes rare in Europe.Even though there are a few tables, it's really more of a takeaway place.Check opening hours as those will vary during the year.

We celebrated a birthday dinner at this lovely restaurant after seeing which Italian restaurant in Thonon had the best reviews. No disappointments! The lemon veal was tender, the salads generous and fresh. The kids' menus were perfect and all of the pasta was delicious. To top it off, the service and decor were both top rate!

This restaurant has opened just recently. We stopped for the set lunch which was good. A combination of starter, main, dessert is on offer and you can choose accordingly with the price variation. Charming service and an anxiety to please. Hope they can keep this up.
