I have been Coming here for years. The fish is fresh, service is good and it's reasonably priced. We have a girls night once a month and come here. Some of my favorites are the Whitehorse roll and Henry roll

Osaka Japanese Bistro was the first Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas, and is a legendary favorite among locals and visitors. Two locations, the original on West Sahara and now Henderson also.Both feature Sushi Bar, Teppanyaki Grill and Tatami Rooms.

I have frequented Osaka Japanese Bistro for years. As opposed to other sushi restaurants in Las Vegas and Henderson, Osaka has a sort of atmosphere and character that is a big reason for their success. First, the servers and staff are the most friendly people I have interacted with in a sushi restaurant. In addition, the atmosphere is not loud and boisterous. You can enjoy your meal in peace and actually hear the other people at your table. I love that on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, they have live jazz performers playing near the bar. This area with the piano is separate from the dining room so the music's sound level is just right to set the mood.The menu is the most extensive that I have seen. Every type of sushi is included and there is a separate kitchen menu and Teppanyaki Grill menu for those who might not want sushi. The skill of the the chefs is evident based on the beauty of everything that is presented. The flavor and texture of the traditional Nigiri sushi, the standard rolls and the more modern traditional rolls are always consistent in quality. If I needed to cater sushi for a large gathering or event, this is where I would order it from.The kitchen and Teppanyaki Grill menu have a lot of good choices as well. Choices in these categories are either hit or miss. Every so often there is an item here that I don't like in terms of either flavor or how it was cooked. For example, once I tried the salmon Yakisakana and it was overcooked making it very chewy. I had the same experience with the Chilean Sea Bass a couple years ago. So this is not the place I would go for cooked fish entrees or filet mignon. The strength of Osaka Japanese Bistro is in their appetizers and high quality sushi offerings. In this regard, they are the best in Henderson and the reason I keep returning.

First time here and I ordered the spicy ramen. First off the presentation was beautiful and giant. Enough for two meals easily. It was not too spicy. Like it didn't burn up your mouth. It was just a great flavor with a slight kick. It was perfect!! Service was fast, friendly and prices were incredible. Dinner for two with tip cost $21 bucks. Will definitely come again!!

The food and staff are reasons why we always come back! Prices are more than reasonable and portions are big enough to share with family or not. Tempura Green Tea ice cream is a must have if you like desserts! Love the personal touch with having pics of the customers on their wall!

The whole experience at Marssa was amazing. The food was excellent, especially the sushi and Waygu beef. The fish was very fresh and seasoned perfectly. However the greatest part of dinner was the service. Daniel and Jan served our table and were very attentive and were on top of their game. Would highly recommend making the trip here if you're in the area as it's some of the best steak and sushi we've ever had.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Very extensive menu. Many varieties of delicious sushi and other Japanese dishes. We each had luncheon Bento boxes. Each was freshly made and all components were at the proper temperature. The members of our party varied their choices, teriyaki salmon, mixed tempura, chicken katsu(sp?), teriyaki beef, chicken skewer, and a California roll. Service started with pickled cucumbers, then a flavorful misu soup and the main course. Our drinks were refilled as needed and the server was very attentive.The first timers in our party agreed that this was a very nice dining experience.
