Reviewed By ExploesomemoreEven though the pub was closed, everything was organised for our stay. A lovely verandah to sit on and breakfast was left out for us. Very reasonable mini bar, but could easily walk or ride into town. We had bikes and Panniers and it was the perfect stay for us. All rooms were up stairs.

Lovely quiet spot
Reviewed By KarenC2351960A lovely caravan park on the banks of a river. Managers friendly and accommodating, will definitely stay again. Park is quiet and cosy with very good facilities. Also an easy, pleasant walk into town.

Not worth the price
Reviewed By 414honeybPlace looked run down. Everything was dusty and had cobwebs. Even the upgraded bathroom had such a mouldy and dirty shower that I felt the need to clean it first before using it. Old soap scum and stuff on the shower caddy, dirty, greasy shower base, red and black mould between the tiles. HUGE hole in the toilet seat. We each got one tiny block of soap from the hotel. Room so small you can’t take your shoes off without scuffing the already scuffed and marked walks. Host wearing a mask but with his nose and half of his mouth open. Was “yeah yeah” about us showing our vax certificates. Zero aircon and with the only window in each of the bedrooms opening on to a hot tin roof the ceiling fan was fighting a lost battle. The garden was overgrown and nobody used it. Inspired so little confidence in the sanitation of the place that we ate elsewhere. Annoyed that Bookings.com acted like this place was in demand “only 3 places left!” When there are only 3 rooms and we were the only people there. Definitely paid too much for this accomodation.

Reviewed By Ian MA very friendly welcome with recommendations for eating and even an offer to change rooms to be further away from the road but it was so quiet anyway which was appreciated Our room was very neat and clean and the bed was comfortable. One of the best for cleanliness. within easy reach of eateries and main street.

Nice but a bit over priced for what it is
Reviewed By M4730HElindabIt is a lovely place however there was just somethings that were hard to look past like the endless tooth brushes that were still there in the bathroom which I felt strange about, all opened not like they were spare. Also the lack of pantry items which in places I have stayed previously on the same budget have at least included oil. This seemed to only be stocked with those left overs from people who had been there. Whilst clean we did notice it rained and water flooded into the back wet room area which was not nice. Great array of books and dvd as there is no internet or netflix but we did notice a dodgy almost r rated Jim Beam rubix cube on the top shelf which was a a little tacky. If you want some where private then this is not for you as the owners watch you like a hawk,

Old run down and the worse $115.00 I had to pay
Reviewed By iansG8002SBI tried and tried to call reception 3 or 4 times I self booked and got room9 it was dirty there was still cobwebs in the room. The smoke alarms had been disconnected it says breakfast to your room but there is no one here to take the order and nothing in the room either. The lighting is very poor. On the whole the worse $115.00 dollars for a night I have ever spent infact if I knew what I know now I would have slept in the car. The only good thing of the stay was we found a great pub for a feed which was only a walk away. It is my opinion that please save your money and find another place to stay yea is a beautiful town just this motel lacks the love
