RUDEST STAFF I EVER MET !!

The owners clearly can care less as there are review after review on how rude this person is yet they still keep him in this position. They basically take your money to stay in this disgusting hotel and treat you like sh*t !!!!!! You might be tempted to stay despite all the bad reviews because it is cheaper and always has rooms available. But do you self a favor and don’t !!!! This place is horrible. They have those Old comforters from the 60s that never get washed. Makes me itchy just thinking about it !!!!! Disgusting old dirty place with the rudest staff!! Don’t waste your money!!

All rooms come with AC, cable, free wifi, a refrigerator, and best of all every room is an Ocean front view! There are many shops, restaurants, and activities within walking distance. A 20 minute drive is foxwoods Casino, which includes Tanger outlets, and Mystic CT attractions. We are known for our dedicated friendly staff, who will always make you feel right at home. We have many different room types to accommodate couples or families, including 1 and 2 bedroom suites with full kitchens.
Dirty, Filthy Dump and Nasty Owner
Reviewed By Mirpel4There is no rescue or rehab to be had for this vile, dirty, smelly, dangerous, mismanaged horror of a motel run by an equally obnoxious rude nasty man. The rates are outrageous to begin with and once you see the conditions of this long expired property and the disgusting rooms you will see just how outrageous. The staff are not just lazy they are nasty, rude and clueless. They demonstrate consistently they don’t care and if you make an issue of the smells or filth in a room or some unsafe condition then the repulsive owner comes out of his cave and subjects you to absurdly condescending and abusive behavior. We are at a loss to understand how this sad disgusting place is still in business. It’s gross. It’s a hazard and you will get sick. Ready for the wrecking ball.

Reviewed By nottinghallI'm confused. Did we all stay at different places. This is an old-run down motel (not an inn at all). Our room was anything but nice ... beat-up furniture, smelly carpeting, buckled bathroom walls, no amenities at all, mattresses needing to be replaced, one skimpy little blanket, lumpy pillows, a door you could push in without any effort, dirty plastic deck furniture, rusty a/c units, no sound proofing between rooms ... and all at an exorbitant price. Sure the beach is nice, but so isn't the state beach just up the road. Never again!

Reviewed By 404kelleycThe location of this "resort", LOL, was fine. The rooms leave much to be desired. They take absolutely no pride in this establishment. The air conditioners that are built into the wall have obviously NEVER been cleaned. I was coughing all night and my throat was aching. We were afraid to sleep on the sheets, so we had to resort to sleeping on top of the bed, which did not give us much more peace of mind. I wouldn't stay there again if it were free...

Reviewed By HappytravelinfamilyWe stayed for one night. Rooms were a good size and recently renovated. There was a musty smell but once we shut off the fan off for the AC it seemed to go away. Hotel front desk is very pleasant. We did eat at the restaurant and the food was ok.

Reviewed By Elaine RThe place is basically a Dump. It doesn't look bad from the outside, but the rooms are very sorry-looking and worn out. The place lacks the basic amenities for the most basic motel room - phone, clock, tissues, ice. The beds were horribly soft. The best thing was the frig, which was big enough to freeze some water. I checked in about 5:30 PM on a busy summer day and had to wait a long time for someone to show up to check me in. Most places would have the Office staffed at that hour. There was supposed to be a coffee maker, but it was missing and I needed one. I asked someone from the owner's family; she said she'd look for one, but of course I never got it. I asked the housekeeper the next day and she was able to find one for me. The owners are quite surly, as others have noted. She stands at the pitiful breakfast bar and watches you like a hawk. It made me feel very uncomfortable. Take a look at the owners' responses to other negative reviews and you can see the surly attitude. I believe any excellent reviews were posted by the owners.
