Pretty Average, but sub-par 5 star experience

Fast check in and allocated a nice room. Fast check in and allocated a nicely appointed room. Room controls broken, called guest services. We had to troubleshoot, which failed. New controls supposed to be delivered that never arrived, or system was broken. Many casino games unavailable (all aboard etc).

Family long weekend

What a special place to stay. We all had a wonderful/luxurious 4 day stay at the Metropol. To start with the phone booking process was special. The lady who took my call managed to help me through with my 2 boys noisly interupting as if it were no trouble at all and genuinely seemed interested in why we were coming. Gold stars! The room was well appointed and comfortable and the staff amazing! Breakfast which was included in the hey hey vacay deal was delicious. The kids loved the pool despite the cold. It was great to be able to walk to optus stadium and the park. There were many other food options on site too. The concierge Ashley was a wonderful person helping with my sons split chin. Thanks Ashley. Again Gold stars! I have seen some negative feedback about the hotel of late and if I had to pick fault there were a few attention to detail things which if we wanted to find fault we could but knowing how hard it is to find staff at the moment, a drink ring from the previous guest on a side table is easy to look over considering the rest of the room was perfectly clean and comfy and the daily clean was always done to a high standard. Thanks for having us crown

Nice stay

Stayed here for one night with my wife and daughter. Simple rooms but that’s all we wanted. Had a great nights sleep. It is a bit run down but it is a hostel and it only cost $75. It was a nice quiet night for my family and I would stay again. The host Jimmy was very nice and helpful. Has a large tv room. Simple outdoor area, front and rear. Kitchen is big. Two bathrooms.

Worse place ever

Reviewed By M G Pascal L

Parkline Apartment feature pictures that do not reflect reality. The place is a real dump. Dirty house and a very dirty yard around. The owner accepts your reservation and a few days before you get there he will tell you he has "upgraded you" in another house. The upgrade is a downgrade. You will never see the flat where the images you saw on the web. If you try to get your money back, the owner will not answer your phone calls or reply to your sms. Please don't go there !!
