We felt at home at Anabel's

Reviewed By Dan L

We stayed in Room 5, exceedingly well appointed, self contained and pristine. More than adequate amenities for our overnight sojourn. After our friendly greeting on arrival and then being settled in by our gracious hostess, we simply felt at home. Ventured out for a late lunch/early dinner and decided to have an early night to be fresh for the following days adventures. Our comfortable cosy bed ensured that we were refreshed. Lovely heritage gardens to take a stroll, just beware of the mosquitos. A fantastic place to stay in Scottsdale.

Excellent Stay

Managed to get a room here after StHelens was booked out and we were pleased that we did. Great old house and accommodation with atmosphere. Bed extremely comfy and superb breakfast. Host Peter could not have been more helpful with local information and suggestions. With its position central to wineries, golf and surrounding attractions it’s the perfect place to stay. Thanks for a great stay Peter.

We have just had the most wonderful dinner at a brilliant pub. Friendly locals and felt more than welcome. The Cape Grim Scotch Fillet, chips and salad. in fact we all had it! Perfectly cooked and with drinks for 3 was $105. Great value highly recommended.

One night stopover in Scottsdale

Reviewed By Bignbeefy

Lovely little B&B, although not sure what happened to the "&B" part - quite possibly the booking site's anomaly here. Considering we paid considerably higher than what was publically advertised (I guess you;d call it a standby rate!) this did annoy me somewhat. Anyhow, room was huge, bed was lovely, everything you needed was here. Parking is outside your door. The hosts are lovely and very keen to meet you and make sire you get to see the park opposite the property. We saw wild wallabies, loads of birds, but missed the platypus! All in all a very nice stay and the service was on the whole exceptional - even after we left as we'd left some belongings in the room that were sent back to us very quickly! I just have issues with the rate we paid which apparently didn't include breakfast and was way above the daily rate they were advertising.

Character with added extras

We just stayed one night here but we soon settled into our room which had lots of lovely thoughtful extras. There was a very well stocked mini bar, selection of teas, delicious banana bread and even chocolates to put on our pillows. Other nice touches included local restaurant menus, toiletries and even an umbrella and torch for wet or night time walks. Our excellent host served up a wide selection of breakfast items which we enjoyed while chatting at the kitchen table. We were also joined by Chuck who is a gorgeous woolly bear Smithfield.

Lovely!

Reviewed By Sunflowersky2013

Wanted to stay overnight in Scottsdale just to relax. So pleased I chose Bella Villa! Very spacious with pleasant decor and comfortable lounge and bed. The kitchen is modern, and includes a good supply of cooking utensils, crockery, microwave and dishwasher. I was really impressed with the large windows showing lovely green gardens surrounding the villa, and also the high windows which were lovely to be able to view outside. Sherilyn was fantastic on the phone, friendly and efficient. Overall a really pleasant stay, quiet location and an easy walk to the shops. I definitely recommend and hope to stay again.
