Blueys Motel

Remarkably close, spectacularly remote. Blueys Motel – just an easy 3 hour drive north from Sydney. Blueys Beach is the perfect distance close enough for a last minute weekend getaway or mid week escape, yet far enough to ensure you won’t be caught in the crowds. Once here, there are plenty of places to explore from Seal Rocks and the fabulous Lighthouse, to Forster, village shops and foreshore, the stunning rainforest at Cellito or the breathtaking natural beauty of our unspoilt beaches and national parks. Guests of Blueys Motel will be immersed into a relaxed, coastal chic look and feel. Open, airy rooms with a palette of natural, warm colours and vibrant pops. Our convenient location is within a short walking distance to Blueys Beach, village shops, cafe’s and eateries. Unwind poolside, barbecue in the private courtyard or take in the ocean breezes from guest room patios. Blueys Motel service and attention to detail provide the ultimate getaway.

A destination in itself with awesome proprietors

We chose this motel above all competition for its closeness to our daughters wedding. We booked the whole motel out for the family. With COVID, the wedding moved from October to November. Mark and his staff could not be MORE ACCOMODATING, changing the dates without ANY fuss. The rooms have recently been renovated with stylish fitting and the biggest TV in a motel room have ever seen. All rooms look out over the pool and spa. Across the road is great coffee, takeaway, bottle shop and a small supermarket ... everything you need. The beach is a 1 minute stroll away. Car parking is at the rear and plentiful. The gardens are manicured with love. The owners regularly on hand to make sure everything is perfect. I cannot recommend Blue's Motel highly enough

Fantastic stay at Moby’s

Reviewed By Katonholidays

We loved our 2 bed, 2 bath cottage. It was well appointed with a lovely deck, new appliances and furniture. It’s a really kid friendly resort while still being a good experience for adults. Unfortunately Sips was closed due to covid but it looked promising. The pool was great. The north end of Boomerang beach is patrolled and lovely. The Blueys shops are great! Couldn’t recommend more highly and we are already booked for next year!

Myself, my wife and 2 x granddaughters have just enjoyed a great family getaway at Blueys Retreat. Late check-in no problem as I received a text message advising townhouse number and where the keys are. Very spacious well equipped and ultra clean accommodation. Girls enjoyed the pool. We would certainly recommend Blueys Retreat and will be back again

Good Spot - Unwelcoming Grumpy Managers

Reviewed By 636van

Located in a nice spot between the lake and beach. Cabins and resort older style but well maintained. The Manager Claire needs to remember guests are on holidays…lighten up and be friendly and helpful or change jobs where you don’t deal with people. It really feels like an inconvenience when you enter the office. I rang about the sauna not working (which it was the same problem as the two days before) but because it was 3.10pm…10mins past the office time nobody would fix it. I would understand if this was 10 or 11pm however as residential managers you’re responsible for the equipment working especially during reasonable daylight hours. Don’t even get me started about the parking…asked to park our 2nd car for one night on-site. Claire said absolutely not we are FULLY BOOKED. We counted 6 cars in the entire resort for the week. Managers inflexibility and unfriendliness tarnish a good stay.
