The B&B La Maison Rouge (4 rooms), the DoveCote gite and the gypsy caravan are very close to Beaune and the motorway. The house is very quiet, and you will enjoy breakfast "a la francaise". 4 Confortable rooms, 1 gite and 1 Roulotte are waiting for you. See you soon in La Maison Rouge.
Comfort and pleasant stay

The room was spotless, spacious, and luminous from the windows overlooking green pastures of horses. The room was decorated so well with antiquities. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was quiet. The breakfast was generous! Homemade jams were excellent! I will definitely stay at Catherine’s place again when I return to the Burgundy region.

Lovely staff, comfortable room, disappointing meal
Reviewed By SarahWB2013We have used this hotel many times over the years and I last wrote a review in 2015. Everything about the hotel remains really good - convenient location for travelling North-South or South-North, welcoming delightful staff, comfortable rooms, great walking around the vineyards for the dog, quiet - but I was very disappointed by the meal this time. I don't know if the staff in the kitchen have changed, but the food was cooked well but the presentation was lacking. The main courses in particular were a piece of meat/fish on a plate with a sauce, no garnish/decoration or accompaniments at all unless you ordered potatoes/vegetables separately. The plate just looked unattractive - a stranded lump of protein. The fish I had was well cooked but I expect the chef to choose suitable accompaniments and put them on the plate. My husband had a duck breast - similar treatment. It was a disappointment for our last meal in France. The wine list of course is wonderful, as you would expect in Burgundy. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of foods.

Reviewed By lizcC5966UVWhat a wonderful rustic, charming location for an overnight stay. Full of original 17th and 18th century tapestries and furniture. If you are looking for a 5* modern hotel then it’s not for you but if you want an experience it is. Seen bad reviews on here but don’t agree with them at all. Charming butler who greeted on arrival and served breakfast in the courtyard.

Reviewed By khomew709506It was particularly nice to return to La Gremelle after 2 years of restrictions. We stayed here a number of times over the years and the reception is always very friendly and efficient. The food is great, with again very nice service.

Great place to stay near Beaune
Reviewed By RedHeadPeterMaryse runs a terrific 3 room Bed and Brakfast on the edge of a small village in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards. The rooms sit underneath the main house so they can be a little dark but the heated pool is nearby with plenty of space to enjoy the sun. Rooms are nicely furnished and equipped, good bathrooms and get made up and cleaned every day. Maryse serves your breakfast in a lovely sunny room in the main house, beside the wine and gift shop. Maryse knows everything and everyone in the area and will recommend great little restaurants in the villsages around and sells local wines 'at the same price as the vineyards'. We certainly made full use of that facility. Beaune is only a few kilometres down the roafd, Dijon is an easy ride. All in all a well located and pleasant place to stay.
