Reviewed By margo bDon't stay if handicap or elderly no valet parking or karts to help with luggage no wifi but your charged daily without being told until checkout pool was freezing cold and had to walk miles to get to casino from room and parking

Reviewed By 638caseybExcellent caring staff. Beds were super comfy. Rooms were clean. Appeared they were about to remodel as there were supplies tucked away in extra spaces (near elevators, etc) but not a problem at all. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast very good as well.

"Totally Remodeled?" DON'T BELIEVE IT!
Reviewed By J. CMy bathroom certainly wasn't "remodeled" (see 4 photos posted with this review). My stay went from bad to worse: 1) neither room key worked (worn-out keycards and/ or card reader). 2) Turned on heat from A/C unit, air coming out smelled like "burnt urine" (no other way to describe it). 3) floor had soft spots in underlayment throughout room. 4) had to first use foot to flush toilet; after 8 or 9 flushes, it worked well enough to flush by hand. 5) slow-running drain in bathtub, hair in tub and on hair dryer. 6) Crud on hair dryer looks like it had been there for months, if not years. 7) bathroom door refused to latch, no matter how hard you slammed it. 8) room door would not close on its own. 9) several areas of BLACK MOLD GROWTH around bathtub (see attached photos). 10) no TV channel guide, either a paper-printed one or one on TV screen. Is it too much to ask of a motel to provide one of these to an out-of-town guest? 11) no safety stops on 2nd floor windows: any child could easily fall out. I took videos of inoperable keys and doors refused to close, if anyone at Choice Hotels would care to see (Choice does not provide a way to contact them other than through a survey; no email or social media). I booked two nights, stayed just one (thank God there was a Hampton Inn right down the road). Clerk provided small discount at check-out, but general manager Urvi Patel's condescending email reply to my survey, insinuating that I somehow made this up ("... and are surprised with your detailed listing of the numerous issues you seemed to find with the hotel...") has left me more angry than ever. "Seemed?" I didn't "seem" to find problems, I REALLY DID find all these problems! I'm now expecting a full refund from Choice hotels, and they should make them take down the "TOTALLY RENOVATED" sign outside, as it's false advertising.

Reviewed By E2613GLdavewGood: Room, bathroom & public areas were clean and odor free. Not a good value for the amount of money paid. Poor: Breakfast was WAY below expectations. Only had: cinnamon buns, 2 dry cereals & instant oatmeal packets, milk, OJ, coffee, tea bags, small number of liquid individual non-dairy creamer, packets, 1 large dry non-dairy creamer & 1arge sugar container. Apple juice dispenser was broken. Utensils were not wrapped, and were inserted into containers with the handle down (so that anyone grabbing a spoon, fork, knife, will also touch the other utensils in the container. Everyone using the large dry creamer and sugar gets their germs all over the container. No bagels, toast, waffles, jam, P.B., or cream cheese, yogurt, baked muffins, English muffins, or egg products (burrito or omelet or hard boiled) . Some or all of these items are usually available at Wyndham properties , Our room served 4 people & had linens for 2 people. Unless they improve sanitation of breakfast and number of food choices, we will probably not return during our next 4 visits per year.

We are 2 miles from Historic Downtown Corydon, Indiana where our guests can enjoy historic tours, shopping and charming restaurants. Families who stay at the Hampton Inn in Corydon will enjoy Golf Shores Fun Center which offers 18 hole indoor and outdoor miniature golf, an arcade and snack bar, located directly across the street from our hotel. We are 8 miles from Marengo Caves and 12 miles from Squire Boon Caverns. Six Flags Amusement Park and Louisville Fair/Exhibition are both 21 miles from the hotel. Around the Corydon, Indiana area, our guests can dine at Cracker Barrel, O'Charlie's, Ryans Steakhouse or Culvers. The Hampton Inn in Corydon features 69 rooms with complimentary wireless high-speed internet access, an exercise room, hot tub, indoor pool, King Suites and Jacuzzi tub suites.
Cross Country for a Funeral
Reviewed By 18genievHampton Corydon is the worst hotel I have stayed in and one of the more expensive ones in a longtime. $168 when said and done. Worth about $10. Very nasty I had to take a wash cloth and wipe off the table. The chair had some sort of food on it the floor is dirty. Never Again the remaining of this trip and from here on out there won't be a Hilton or Hamton. Nasty. The top of the Ice bucket is nasty. If they were not full I would ask for another room. These pics are just some of what is going on in this room. Last nights stay in a different Hampton in WV had Coffee poured into where the water goes so what does that tell you thats right it was not cleaned
