We realized we desperately needed to sleep and just pulling into a rest area wasn’t going to cut it. I rolled in, bleary eyed and half asleep at 2am on 3/25 after making the reservation on the phone. I cannot remember the name of the woman at the front desk because information was just not sticking, but she was SO wonderful. First, she made an exception for us because we have two dogs when they usually only allow one. She also offered enough bottles water for all of us, dogs included, and put us on the first floor for ease with the pups. The room was clean and comfortable, and we were able to sleep for 5-6 hours before getting back on the road in the morning. I just wanted to take a moment to recognize and express my gratitude for the lovely woman at the desk overnight for being so kind to a couple exhausted from moving all day!

Terrible, frustrated staff, unfriendly staff
Reviewed By Femi456Stayed here for 6 nights in May 2022 to attend graduation ceremonies. Hotel not well kept, dirty, . Staff were generally NOT caring , looking disgruntled and NOT ready to assist guests and they do not greet guests at all. The only exception is the lady in the breakfast dining area.

Reviewed By OJSwan3This hotel was amazing —Inviting lobby! Great staff, rooms were clean and modern. Bathrooms was on the small side but all rooms were good size, included fridge. Rate was reasonable, amenities were wonderful. Two pools both indoor and outdoor. Great fitness facility.

Shoddy hotel saved by Front Desk staff

I know staffing shortages are an issue right now but that didn't take the sting out of finding an old soap bar in the shower & food scraps on the floor under the desk. The beds were horrible with a hump in the middle of both queen beds in this particular room. The saving grace from this trip was Tammy at the front desk. She was exceedingly accommodating. When informed that the elevator was down she moved me to a first floor room (has a lot of equipment to bring in, all too big to bring up stairs alone). She was also very quick in finding an iron & board so I didn't look like a wrinkled mess the next day. She did all of this & accommodated other complaining guests with a smile and positive attitude. I don't know what they're paying her but I promise it isn't enough. It's a Motel 6 so I wasn't expecting much, but this was just enough to be disappointing even when grading on a curve. If it wasn't for the service it would have been a terrible experience.

Reviewed By Inspector487I check into this hotel on 7/4 for six nights, all on points. The manager checks me in (and never says hi/hello, etc), and asks if I am on business and I say that I am. I made the mistake of assuming that his intentions were sincere. He then proceeds to go on a rant that the length of my stay is excessive to be using on points. Not just making a comment. I mean, an all out, thoroughly unprofessional rant about the topic. Apparently, he doesn't understand that just like people might not be regulars at his hotel might want to redeem points there, that there were people who are regulars at this hotel that redeem them elsewhere. I then get the room directly over the entrance to the "sports" bar. The room was in terrible shape, and even lacked a phone. The "sports" bar was closed on 7/4 and 5, so I didn't experience the noise from it then. Plus, the hotel itself seemed to be dead. On the night of the 6th, business seemed to pick up, and the "sports" bar began pumping excessively loud music. I have gone to many hotels with bars, and this one simply does not care that there is a hotel next to it. I got my room changed on the night of the 6th, and this is why I think it was deliberate that the manager put me in the bad room. It got busier on the 6th and was dead on the 4th and the 5th. I could go in the quieter room on the 6th, but couldn't be on the 4th? This all goes back to his unprofessional rant at check in. The new room was much better, and honestly, felt like I moved to an entirely new hotel. If it weren't for the rant, I might consider this place again, as long as I knew I would have to be away from the "sports" bar. But, this place won't see a dollar from me, and my co-workers have also been advised to stay away. The "sports" bar should look into what a sports bar actually is, by the way.

Cheapis the only reason to stay
Reviewed By Kate CSmelly, dirty (hair in tub), no pretense of caring by desk staff. Thank Gawd the kid picked another college so we won't have to consider this joint again. Really ridiculously hard to find, which may be just as well.
