Reviewed By 409MichelleH409Nice hotel in a convenient location on the outskirts of town. It is easy to find and has a large secure car park. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a good restaurant located on site serving good quality food.

La Ferme en Ville is an old mansion surrounded by a private park, just 500 meters from Bernay's picturesque town center and 800 meters from the train station. It was completely renovated in 2013 and transformed into a hostel to accommodate business and leisure stays. The 5 rooms are unique and bear the name of famous Norman towns and villages. A full breakfast is included in the price. Guests can also enjoy a drink or a snack in the Baroque medieval lounge with a large fireplace. Dinner is homemade on the day of your arrival with fresh ingredients and must be booked in advance. We also offer lighter versions of this menu and adapt the price accordingly.

Reviewed By jonxstevensThis location was perfect for a quick stop over on route to La Rochelle and break up journey our journey from the UK. Location - about 3 hours south of Calais, so was a good breakpoint for our journey south. 10 mins Walk into town if required where lots of shops/bars Parking - on site parking which was ideal when the car is fully loaded up! Restaurant - Food/wine on the evening was amazing and very impressed. They even had veggie! Breakfast was basic (croissant, cereal, coffee), but OK for what we needed Dogs - Ideal as grounds to walk the dogs. Hosts - Really friendly and made us feel welcome and supported us with our limited French! Rooms - costs reflect the rooms and value for money and ideal for a stop over.

Former post house, located in the centre town at 3mn of the station and close to the tourist office, the Hotel of the Lion d'Or accomodates you in a cordial and convivial environment. With its 23 fully-equipped bedrooms, its elevator, its bar and its private carpark, the hotel constitutes the ideal stage for your tourist excursions and business trips. We propose a formula "Evening Stopover" for the VRP. We also organize thema weekends (paint, discover the region by bicycle...). Bernay is an ideal base for many highly interesting tourist visits (castles, museums, churches) and also offers a range of opportunities for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders.

Reviewed By BGSWGSOur family spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. Excellent restaurant/chef and wait staff. Breakfast and dinner were well worth the price and made it easy to make our early morning's tour guide rendezvous. Location is just at the end of the many charming restaurant and shops downtown and a couple blocks from the Bayuex tapestry museum and impressive Catherdral Noetre Dame Bayeux. Only caveat is if you have problem with stairs request a 1st or 2nd floor room as no elevator. The bar was relaxing with many WW2 and celebrity photos with autographs. Front desk staff were very helpful and always warming greeted us. You would think the staff are all owners as they all appreciated our business!
