This was the first time we stayed at the Amish View and it will not be the last time . Everything was clean and the view was great . The breakfast fare was plentiful and good . My husband left a shirt there , we called and they mailed it to us. All the staff were friendly and nice , they were always cleaning, even mopping the pool area .

Room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Staff was very cordial, helpful and pleasant. The view of the countryside from the motels location is beautiful. For the last 7+ years my wife and I have made an annual trip to see attractions at the Sight & Sound theater and this motel is our place to stay when visiting. Very pleased with this place and we will continue staying here during future visits.

This hotel is very nice. The rooms are nice and have been updated. Chairs to sit in out side and sitting areas around the hotel. Clean and friendly people. The pools are big inside and outside. There is Putt Putt on site and a petting zoo. A great place to stay in Amish and Mennonite Country. If you are going to Sight and Sounds, you a close and you should go see a performance. It is really good. A great place to relax. Not sure teenager would enjoy, but would if they brought a friend.

I made two trips in two weeks to the area and stayed at Village Inn & Suites both times. Each visit was exactly what I hoped for. The first time I stayed in the Haefner room at the back corner of the original inn. My room was cozy and comfortable with two windows , one with a nice view of the local countryside. I appreciated the air conditioning.as the weather was quite warm. The Haefner was the perfect size and setup for a one-person retreat but would be a great for a couple too. The inn itself is charming, beautifully landscaped and furnished with what look like real antiques. Everyone I encountered was friendly and pleasant, particularly the manager, Rebecca. I returned to Bird-in-Hand the following week with my husband, The suite we had booked was undergoing maintenance, so Rebecca upgraded us for free to a HUGE suite with jacuzzi tub in the Ressler Building, My husband was just as pleased as I was with our experience. The nearby BIrd-in-Hand bakery/cafe had delicious breakfast burritos and baked goods , and we enjoyed visiting the farmer's market across the street. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing stay in Amish country.

Victorian Mansion and carriage house (the carriage house is 6 rooms w/ private baths, very rustic rooms. Outdoor pool seasonal. TV, WIFI, private baths, central heat only and AC only, on 2 acres in Amish country. Great views and pretty surroundings, Award winning gardens!
Huge waste of money! Pool was green! Cushions were full of mildew and the hot tub was filthy and did not work. Breakfast included store bought muffins that were stale and fruit that did not look fresh. Same food was out each day. I have never been to a B and B that didn't serve a hot breakfast option. Owner, Angie, was not hospitable at all! Her presence was scarce and the last morning she was slamming doors all throughout the building. It woke me up and startled my wife who was trying to have coffee . Grounds were not like the photos. The ottoman in our room, room 2, was full or crumbs! And the TV was old and not connected. Very unfriendly owner. Total waste of money. BUYER BEWARE
