Reviewed By 181KatyHwe were looking forward to our first Parador stay but it was disappointing, there are much better value hotels in the area. Vielha has a better vibe and better selection of places to stay and we will continue to stay there in future.

Reviewed By EnglishShandrisseI usually only write when the stay is fabulous but this is my exception. The welcome was not warm. The bed was the hardest I’ve ever not slept in. The shower was one of those once expensive triple showers with a tin can overhead, a normal shower on a tube and forward pointing massage jets; not one worked properly. Hair washing was a challenge. No tea/coffee making facilities. There’s a small pool but the aircon didn’t work, nor the fountain. And only one jet worked in the little jacuzzi. It’s great to have these things as little luxuries, but they have to work! The whole place was in need of a re-decoration and gives off the atmosphere of the owners having more than taken their eye off the ball into the realms of they can’t be bothered. Such a shame.

Reviewed By Brendan OStayed here for half term skiing on our first Spanish ski holiday. From the moment we arrived we felt totally at home. It was a real family affair with Eva, her brother, sister and mother always around to help with a smile. The rooms were spotlessly clean with super comfortable beds and nothing was too much trouble. Fab breakfast in the morning - omelettes or eggs and bacon and great coffee. It was so nice to relax in front of the open fire at night with a drink. As the hotel doesn't do evening meals they were happy to help us with recommendations and help us to book as our Spanish was appalling! Quick tip - make sure you reserve restaurants in advance especially at weekends as they can get booked up. Quite honestly the best service we have ever received in a ski resort!

Perfect location
Reviewed By WhiteWolf1468We are glad that we chose this campsite for its location to the little town of Arties that had some great bars and restaurants to go to in an evening. The campsite was a bit basic but it may have been because we went out of season and the fact that Arties is a short walk offering alternatives. Although we would choose to stay here again.
