You're a stones throw from the beach and the old town so the location is perfect for exploring Nice and going on other day trips along the coast. Will definitely return if I'm in Nice again!

We probably are the BEST LOCATED HOSTEL in Nice !! 100 meters away from MASSENA SQUARE (city main square), 100 meters away from the OLD TOWN AND ALL THE PUBS and club (World famous WAYNE'S bar is 5 minutes away), 2 minutes by walk to the PROMENADE DES ANGLAIS and its BEACHES.

We had the good time together, Van show us a lot of thing about their culture. The staff work very hard to make sure every guests get enjoyable. We will come back to Open House Nice whenever we come to France. Once again, thank you so much for your hospitality.

The worst hostel I've ever been to
Reviewed By Shay SThe worst hostel I've ever been to! We changed rooms 4 times. People smoke in the room, and the showers are handicapped accessible. You have to sit on a chair to take a shower. The hostel is full of mosquitoes! There is no hot water in the showers, the kitchen smells of rot. It is not hostels for young people but a building for refugees and homeless people. Breakfast is poor and the hostel staff is not pleasant at all! Stay away from this place! We pay for 4 nights and we are leaving after 2 nights!

Reviewed By norafrederichWe booked a 6 bed dorm in this hostel (hotel?) and when we entered the room noticed that we had been upgraded to a double room. Nice surprise after our three week cycling trip. They also had no problem with us storing the bicycles there overnight and they were safe in the courtyard. Overall clean and basic room but all you can expect for this price! Staff were nice and the courtyard is nice to sit in. It's also very close to the beach and shops. The restaurants close by are great too. We didn't have breakfast but it looked basic as in other hostels I would assume. Overall, can definitely recommend this hostel/hotel.

Hostel Pastoral is located in the center of Nice just 5 minutes from the train station and only 10 minutes walk from the beaches and the old town. bar and club!!walking distance to all the tourist atraction.There is free WIFI access in each room so that you can keep in touch with family and friends from home while away.There is luggage storage available at the hotel in case of early or late check out.There is a communal kitchen to save on expensive meals in restaurants outside. --free wifi in room--air conditioned---free lockers in dorms- --NO CURFEWPublic parking is available closeby.
HORRIBLE BIGGEST SCAM EVER, STOLE MY MONEY

Me and my 2 friends therefore informed the guy at the front desk that were going to leave and the we wanted a refund for the four nights we were not going to stay. He called his boss who said he would do the refund on Monday (we paid by card, so they could only pay us back by card). This was two months ago. We call them every week. they hang up on us. they say we are lying. Yet me and my friends have written proofs (bank accounts, receipts) etc of our payment and DID NOT STAY ONE NIGHT. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
