We came during a holiday weekend, which made the town busy. They were unprepared, understaffed, very slow to bring drinks. The burger meat was dry and flavorless. We ended up giving the meat to homeless dogs in town.Points go to the appetizer called Mazorcada.Hi, sorry for the late answer. We are so sorry your experience was that bad, since march 2018 is running the place a new owner and we have new recipies. We hope you come again to Villa de Leyva and give a second chance to the place, you won't regret it!

I just happened upon this place one afternoon while looking for a good lunch spot. Villa de Leyva is pretty easy for vegans, but the vegan burger at Pepa Pimienta deserves a special commentâtruly delicious. The burger is a mix of plant-based proteins smothered in sautéed veggies with a side of potatoes and a nice selection of condiments. I also enjoyed the pineapple juice with fresh mint. The service is friendly and prompt, nice decor, highly recommended.

As a new resident here in Villa de Leyva, Iâm always in the look for good, not pricy, tasty food. Today I tried their Vegetarian Cannelloni in Béchamel sauce. Garlic breat and white wine!!! Right portion for me, Iâm not a heavy eater. Quiet atmosphere, good ambiance and fair price!

We really enjoyed the burgers and fries we had in Sheriff. I had the spicy burger which was perfect; and my partner had the double burger (it's great as you can choose 2 different meats in the double from beef, pork or chicken). The meat was cooked perfectly, so were the fries and all was very tasty.Our waiter, Javier, was welcoming and nice. There is a great variety of burgers on the menu, including vegetarian ones.Thank you very much for the comment.Javier and our entire work group are happy to leave the Sheriff's style up. We will continue with our original recipe in wood-fired oven.

Villa de Leyva is known for its good food and this restaurant for us was fantastic. Every meal we had here was perfectly cooked and beautifully flavoured. The service was amazing (and they had a lovely waitress who spoke fluent English which was a great help). The atmosphere is cosy but not cramped or pokey. They also had live music which was very cool. Overall we had a great experience here but the food was definitely a highlight. My husband was super happy that they had lamb on the menu, and it came perfectly cooked as did all of our steak meals. This restaurant is set in a large patio. The food is Colombian. You choose a type of meat and then the carbs or salad to accompany it. The choices include various styles of steak, chicken and pork. The accompaniments include arepas, potatoes of various types and plantains. The deserts are generously proportioned, especially after such a large main course. Service is friendly and prices are moderate.
