Quest Brighton on the Bay is located in one of Melbourne's most desirable and well-known suburbs and enjoys the fresh and healthy sea breezes from the Bay. Located across the road from the Royal Brighton Yacht Club and the Brighton Pier, the beach is an easy 2 minute walk away. This friendly and cozy property is a modern 4 star rated hotel with apartment style guest rooms. Most apartments have kitchenettes and the larger suites have kitchens. Only 20-minutes from the city, Quest allows guests to enjoy the seaside suburb's atmosphere while being close enough to the city to stay in touch.Quest Brighton on the Bay features meeting facilities, onsite secure car parking, guest laundry and Endota Day Spa. Famous boutique shops and popular cafes line Church Street about 10 minutes walk away. Visitors from all over come to see the colourful Brighton Beach Bathing Sheds also located near by. Enjoy a morning run or bike ride along the many kilometers of seaside boardwalk for a healthy start to the day. Please note that the hotel is opposite the beach but we do not have any apartments with views towards the bay. Only a few, limited apartments have a balcony at all, and as such, due to demand, they attract a daily surcharge.
Brilliant place to stay
Reviewed By barbd789Fantastic location opposite the beach (dog friendly) & walk to Church St with great shops & food options. Our room was perfect for a couple & our furchild, so very happy we could stay in such a great hotel with our dog. Staff were extremely helpful & friendly. We really couldn't have asked for more & Quest Brighton On The Bay will now be our go to when visiting Melbourne.

Arrived at the hotel to be told that the hotel didn’t have a room for me as my room was give away to ‘a guest who wanted to extend their stay’.Are you kidding me? Hotel full and you have no accomodation for your five day stay even though you booked and paid through booking. com. Bad luck, hey, nothing we can do. They did tell me earlier that day they had tried to phone me to tell me the disgraceful news but had the wrong number. Even so, if they had reached me by telling me an hour before I was to arrive, how bad is that? No accomodation anywhere and I’m here in my hired car trying to find accommodation for my five days without luck due to the busy long weekend. Shameful and unprofessional Quest on every level.

Reviewed By amandao352A very empty space, no ornaments, no clock, dining table has some burn damage and coffee table has chips all the way around it. Feels old, well worn and 'cold'. Not a welcome 'feel'. A vase here or there, or another picture on an empty wall would make it feel more homely. Not a home away from home. On train line side so quite noisy.

Small, modern apartment lacking some attention to detail
Reviewed By JellytreeWe had a recent 2 night stay in these apartments to attend a wedding. We are a family of 4 so we booked a superior 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. We arrived after hours and the contactless check in process was well explained for keycard retrieval. I liked that there were allocated undercover car spaces for each apartment. Unfortunately, we were allocated an apartment with only 1 small bathroom. The managers acknowledged this mistake and the final charges reflected the 2 bed, 1 bath apartment. However, it did leave us somewhat inconvenienced as we tried to prepare/look good for the wedding using one tiny bathroom. I should say I have 2 teenage daughters! The beds were really comfortable but there was no space around the bed to lay out our luggage. The rooms were very small. I also requested the second bedroom be arranged as 2 single beds in my booking but this was not done. The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment was furnished with modern decor. I was grateful for the washing machine and dryer. There was mould on the shower floor tiles which was unsightly and we had a towel with some stains on it. These areas could be improved. The cafe and IGA within the building complex were super convenient. Wifi was excellent. These apartments are good if you need to be in the area otherwise, I would look elsewhere for a bigger apartment to suit a family of 4.

Low water pressure and the shower was only warm, and that was without turning the cold tap on at all. Undercover parking out the back. It was clean yet quite old. Would we stay again? Yes. Would it be a memorable experience that you can’t wait to tell friends and family? No. But it was fit for purpose and with so many restaurants within 10 mins walk down in Bay Street that will be what keeps it booked out.

Reviewed By 454colineStayed for 14 nights and the appartment was perfect for our needs. Large living area, full kitchen, laundry, 2bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a study made it a very comfortable stay. The complimentary car parking and location were added bonuses. Special thanks to Jason who was so professional in dealing with all our requests. Will certainly recommend to others
