We had a lovely visit for my son’s wedding. Jase crafted the most amazing breakfasts and snacks. Janelle was so accommodating and gracious. Thank you for letting us play musical chairs with our cars to support the groomsmen. A perfect Weston adventure and we know we will return to our home away from home. We will recommend The Hatchery House to friends and family!

Not clean. Housekeeping is terrible.

First off I should start off with, we knew this wasn't an actual B&B anymore. No breakfast, under new management, no on site host, just a bed. It is ran by the saint George hotel in town now. I was totally fine with that when this was the only place that had vacancy left to stay, I said no biggie we aren't picky at all. However, the only thing I asked for on the phone when booking was, is it clean? The lady assured that cleaning lady does amazing job blah blah blah. Well sadly that was a lie. Fridge had rotten lettuce and cheese in it, caked on food, etc. The coffee pot wasn't clean from the last person that stayed, the bed sheets didn't smell like they been washed in awhile, the robe provided in bathroom smelled and was still all mangled up from the last person that stayed there, there was trash on the floor of our bathroom. The house just had an unpleasant smell to it and was in desperate need of a good cleaning. I fully understand they are under new management here and maybe slowly renovating the house but they should really consider putting a hault on renting rooms until it's done or at least get their cleaner to do a better job. I can deal with alot but not dirtiness!

Spent the July 4th -5th in Weston at this unique B&B. Host was excellent and we enjoyed the hospitality and period Irish decor of the O’Malley room. Only a block off Main St and next to O’Malleys pub, would recommend for a peaceful stay. Excellent breakfast cooked on site.

Home Away From Home

The TLDR of our stay: It is the first place I have stayed where I didn't want to come home. We rented the B&B for a women's getaway. The grand old home is lovingly maintained and surrounded by lush gardens. The front porch was perfect for coffee convos in the morning and casual wine chats in the evening. MaryJo's breakfasts are perfection on a plate. The home is beautifully decorated, yet very homey and welcoming. Everything is immaculately clean. The pillows are perfectly soft on beds any Goldilocks can appreciate. If you enjoy walking, downtown is only a few blocks away. MaryJo takes great care with COVID precautions to make sure everyone is safe at all times. She and her home are a treasure!
