Peoria /piˈɔːriə/ is a city in Maricopa and Yavapai counties in the State of Arizona. Most of the city is located in Maricopa County, while a tiny portion in the north is in Yavapai County. It is a major suburb of Phoenix. According to 2010 Census Bureau releases, the population of the city is 154,065. Peoria is currently the sixth largest city in Arizona for land area, and the ninth largest for population. It was named after Peoria, Illinois. The word "peoria" is a corruption of the Illini word for "prairie fire." It is the spring training home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners who share the Peoria Sports Complex. In July 2008, Money magazine listed Peoria in its Top 100 Places to Live.

If you are visiting Westgate for an event or simply for eating, you have a plethora of dining options. Our large group visited recently for lunch. Wait staff was pleasant and very competent and with a smile. Our main concern was that the back room where we were seated was extremely noisy. It was difficult to hear your closest guest. My wife had the daily $5 burger with fries. Burger was overcooked on the perimeter. Fries were served hot and good. I had a BBQ chicken wrap. It was good. Baked beans side were to my liking. A little spice, ample chunks of bacon. Portions are ample. Overall, this is a good, but not outstanding, pub food place. Does not feel real 'country' but wait staff and décor is their positioning.

Amazing brisket egg roll appetizer that led into an amazing selection of grilled meats prepared to please the most scrupulous palette. Sides that compliment and a dessert split amongst 4 very full and satisfied adults rounded off the evening. Our waiter Bryce was attentive and respectfully fun. I absolutely hate attentiveness that becomes annoying because you canât have a conversation due to constant interruptions...not that we were saying much more than...âOMG...this is sooo goodâ..We also loved the rustic charming decorAthath, we're so glad you loved our Q roll appetizer! It makes us so happy that you ordered dessert and all left feeling full. We'll be sure to pass this on to Bryce, too. Went for lunch after hiking at lake pleasant. Not sure I like that you have to pay $6 before even entering marina. By the time you work your way down to the restaurant, it's too late to leave if there is a long wait...which there was. Mistake on our part is it was st Patrick's day...super busy. Food was ok, music was too loud, drinks very weak. Advice: go during the week and drink wine or beer. Good service.

Went for lunch and ordered the special of the day. It was excellent and very reasonably priced. We asked if the menu changed from day to day and it doesn't. So get your fill of chicken, rice, and veggies for $5.75.

Famous Daves Rules! Love this place and the taste of the meaty offerings available. When I heard the Tucson branch had moved and not reopened yet I knew I had to cash in here and I wasn't disappointed. Their variety meal for one is huge and amazing and the service alwasy cheerful, happy and glad you came. We both left very full and very satisfied and we will be back
