Stumbled onto this place when staying nearby. We started with the charcuterie which was also good, especially the pate. They toast the bread to the point of char -- such a nice touch. My son ordered their slow-cooked suckling pork specialty which was interesting and tasty, and I had a special with an Iberian pig 'pluma' cut cooked to their recommendation (which is quite rare) that was out-of-this-world good. Service was excellent - the waiter noticed us struggling with the menu and said, "Ah, American...!" and brought us English menus, a nice touch since Google Translate does not do a great job with food descriptions...House wine was excellent and reasonably priced. I'd tell you about the dessert, but we were both stuffed - the plates were very generous. One of two top meals I had all week - I'd go back to Paris just to eat there again!

Had a pretty good lunch here and really liked the atmosphere and if you wanted close proximity to the Arc de Triumph, it is a good spot and even has heat lamps to sit outside if it isn't quite warm enough. My medium burger I ordered was 1/2 an option underdone and so was the bacon on it for my preference (warm, no crispy spots). The fries were good though. My colleagues chicken burger though was perfect, although they missed his request of no tomato's or onions.Thank you for your honest and complete review. We are very sorry for any inconvenience there could have been with the burgers. We will make sure to talk to the team about it so that it will not happen again. Don't hesitate to let us know directly when something like this happens so that we can take care of it right away, our team is happy to receive constructive comments like yours to get better and give you the best service possible.Concerning the pricing, we would like to add that we carefully source great quality products that we prepare ourselves, which led to a "Maitres Restaurateurs" recognition (certifies that everything is homemade). Furthermore, we are indeed located very near the Arc de Triomphe, which is also to take into consideration in the pricing. We hope to see you again soon to taste our other meals !

Le Nouveau Paris

The restaurant is located to the North of Neuilly-Sur-Seine, on an island surrounded by the Seine in Paris. It has a mixture of local french drinks as well as the brand names you would expect. The starters were beautiful. We shared two starters which were more than enough for 4, including humous, olives, salami, ham, tomatoes, cheese etc....the range and quality of the two starters that we tried were perfect. Our main consisted of steak, home made chips, salad (with a Dijon mayonnaise) and accompanied with a Peppercorn sauce that makes you want to go to the kitchen and demand the recipe! They also made a beautiful salad at request to the dietary requirements of one of our group. There is a great range of not just French but touches of specialist Italian cuisine centred around quality beef and seafood dishes. JC and Frederic were not only attentive and friendly waiters but took the time to describe every dish on the menu in English (as our french was only passable at infant school!). This seemed of no trouble whatsoever. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and like a friend always told me.....when you want good food, go to where all the locals go! A must go-to restaurant which we were lucky enough to stumble upon on our hotel doorstep but would definitely travel to if not."The England People!"MILLE MERCIS, pour la gentillesse de votre message.Nous espérons avoir le bonheur de vous recevoir à nouveau .cordialement .

I often come here during my lunchbreak. I have always had a good reception and the food is well prepared and presented. I've not had the steak myself, but difficult-to-please colleagues have always been impressed with the quality. I tend to go for the Caesar salad which is tasty, but... The 5€ for the side portion of chips is a bit of a joke. They are good though.I had the burger last time and it's très tasty. The café gourmand always looks good. Not the cheapest, but I think reasonably priced - about 13,50€ for the salad and I think it was 15€ for the burger. For me the thing that keeps me going back is that regardless of how busy it gets (and often very busy given the business district), all staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful. Oh and it has a terrace, which can only be a good thing, and a smoking room which is faaaar from the main dining room. Winner.
