Combination short soup was great with plenty of meats and tasty broth. Should have stopped there, however Tang Shun Chicken was also very flavoursome. Good for takeaway but tired interior so wouldnât be keen to sit there for a meal.If in Gunnie again would consider for easy takeaway

We have just eaten our evening meal at Maxx Thai Gunnedah which we found to be thoroughly delicious. We were passing through from Sydney. We were reliably informed the food here was terrific and that we wouldn't be disappointed. We were at first unsure of the decor and presentation of their front window but don't let this put you off as the food is well worth it. Our meals were, Crispy Fried Pork with Spicy Chilli Jam which can be spiced up further if you like, Yellow Curry Chicken with steamed rice for two. The food matches any of the Thai food we eat regularly in Sydney. The service is also very friendly. Thank you Maxx Thai. We highly recommend this restaurant for visitors to the town and locals.

The restaurant is decorated in typical Chinese decorations and is quiet large in size.Service is fast and pleasant and servings are quiet large and tasty.The fried ice-cream is delicious and my favorite.Have a meal plate to yourself or share amongst friends, the restaurant caters for shared meals.Reasonably prices and popular on weekends.Take away orders available

We enjoyed the food. We had the pad Thai, Massaman curry beef and stirfry beef.Service was okay. There are plenty of seats towards the back of the restaurant and out in the garden for summer.Good soul food

We pulled into Gunnadeh overnite with our van stayed at the gunnadeh top tourist park in Henry st and Linda and Col made us feel right at home considering I rang 5mins before we arrived so thanks guys .Dinner that nite Barry went down to the Gunnadah Chinese resturant and ordered dinner which was great, food fresh great flavour so all in all was a great stopover Thanks Gunnadeh support our country and small towns
