I have stopped here a few times in the past and always try to stop when they're open. The food here is not pretentious or fancy, it's just good and delicious. I have eaten things here I had never tried before for fear they were not to my likings, but I have returned again and again to eat them again and again. Very nice friendly people and excellent service.

They are the only KFC that always has chicken ready. I have only been there once that they were running low. There employees are always smiling, happy to see you and they treat you so nice. Every thing there is clean and fresh. I only have one complaint, The statue of the Colonel sitting on a bench creeps me out. I met the Colonel a few times when he flew into Byrd Airport now known as Richmond International Airport. He would be very proud of this store and their employees

A grilled cheese specialty place...heck yeah! Don’t let the small menu scare you...this place has quality, homemade food made with love. The pimento cheese sandwhich was over the top with flavor. The sloppy joe grilled cheese was just as good. They also have baked goods and the oatmeal cookies are worth cleaning your plate. Coffees and coffee drinks are available. The river view and friendly owners make this a package deal. Pet friendly if your pet is friendly. For the love of grilled cheese, please support local and the Riverview Cafe. Can’t wait to visit again!

Best food in Plymouth. It's local! It's great! It's worth the trip to the Outer Banks!

Staff was incredibly friendly and the French toast..... oh my gosh the French toast was soooooo good. Homemade bread and batter cooked to perfection with sausage and eggs to boot. This is the place in Plymouth for breakfast. Sadly i didn't try lunch or dinner but if it's anything like breakfast you won't be disapointed.

Some family friends of ours are visiting all the way from New Mexico and we stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks as we were showing them around the area. We were talking up this place and how wonderful the food was. However, our whole table sat in stunned silence as 3 plates of very healthy portions were put in front of the 3 white women of the table and the sad, single piece of rejected anemic-looking fish with NO SIDES was placed in front of our very obviously not-from-around here Native American friend from New Mexico. I'm not saying someone behind the counter decided they didn't like him, but it sure did seem that way. It was embarrassing to have talked up this restaurant to be proved liars and for the ugly side of the South to show so obviously. I hope for the sake of all involved that the workers realize that tourist season is going to start next week, and people from all over the country and the world will be traveling to the Outer Banks and sitting down at those tables and will be judging Southern Hospitality and even the USA on interactions such as this. What a shame.

First time in Plymouth, NC. Visited to see the Black Bear Festival. Instead of eating at the vendors we spotted this sweet Cafe. Went in to find delightful surroundings. Greeted with hellos and smiles from staff. Had a pick of tables and was promptly seated. Once seated at around 11:30 am the place filled up so quickly. Our server was so accommodating. Gave me a sample of their cole slaw and let my granddaughter eat some of her boiled peanuts from the festival while they were hot.Home style cookin' and/or new favorites such as wraps. They have such things as Fried Oysters Salad, Hot & Cold Pastas, Cut to order Rib-Eyes, smothered Chicken and Fried Boneless Pork Chops Specials just to mention a few items. My husband and granddaughter got the special of of the day. Hot Sausage Dog with onions & peppers and side of home cooked chips. I got their Cheeseburger with LTM on the most delicious buns and French Fries. So fresh! I highly recommend this Cafe. Great seating very open. Great for Families, Business People, Locals and Travelers such as us. Also the town of Plymouth is by the Roanoke River which is absolutely beautiful.
