The quality of the food was quite good. And fresh. Some unusual rolls are produced that were quite tasty. My friends swear by this and I thought it was quite good. Service was efficient

Was there for lunch -- great selection of lunch box specials. Delicious combination plates of sushi and teriyaki, soup and salad included. Excellent service, very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Tomo's subdued yet colorful lighting reminds me of my childhood, when going to a Chinese restaurant was an exotic adventure. This is primarily a Japanese restaurant but they serve Chinese dishes too, and do them well. Sushi and Sashimi for 2 provides a large portion of delicious food. Always a lot of food, and not very expensive.

Fresh sushi. The nigiri sushi was fresh and the pieces of fish were generous and without too large a rice ball underneath. We had the sake and hamachi. Both were very flavorful. We also enjoyed several rolls. Very good, simple sushi. Not too fancy with a bunch of sauces where you can't taste the freshness of the fish and other ingredients. The atmosphere is just so-so. It doesn't seem Asian on the inside. It is just pretty generic. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and when we walked in, they started playing some music to give a little ambiance. Also, there are pubs on both sides of the restaurant and a Chinese place a couple of doors down. The smokers from these places congregate out front to smoke, and the doors to Nagoya don't close all the way, so you sit in a dining room that smells very strongly of smoke. We'll order from them again, but we'll likely do carry out.
