Traveling back from daughter and son-in-laws stopped in for dinner. Looked crowded but only a 20 minute wait. When we were seated she brought us some hot rolls and butter, I could eat a pile of them. I ordered the ribs, which as advertised the meat fell off the bone, were delicious. She had the fish, 4 pieces, which she said was good.Overall a good place for dinner. Almost forgot to mention they have peanuts at the table. They also bring out a saddle for the little ones to sit on for their birthday.

3 colleagues and I were in the area and decided to stop by this restaurant. Our waiter was Mickey and she was fantastic. EVERYTHING we ordered was fantastic!!!! The Lobster dip was amazing, the salmon was to die for. The desserts were wonderful... we ordered the cake with berries and it was YUMMY!! I would absolutely return!!

Had only a very light appetizer but the Menu had really good choices. In the table next to us a gentleman was eating a steak that he said that was the best ever. Nice atmosphere, very nice ambience and the manager and staff were very friendly and attentive. Don't miss the bread!Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. You might not expect to find such a great dining experience hidden inside a bowling establishment, but Tubby's is inside Plaza Lanes. We recently joined long time friends for dinner there and were really impressed. Everything was delicious. Hubby had the Fried Chicken special which he deemed excellent. Their chef salad was full of meat and other fresh ingredients and their homemade Italian Vinaigrette was yummy. Our friends are locals and eat there frequently. They also told us that the steaks are the best in town. Service was fast and efficient. Prices are quite reasonable. I would highly recommend trying Tubby's the next time you are in St. Charles.

I had a steak quesdallia and it was good. Baked potato was too. Friends had endless soup and salad. They had all the types of soups and salads available that weren't premium. It all looked very good. It is a time consuming place to eat, though.
