My wonderful friends, a couple I love dearly, treated me as their guest to the Sunday prime rib special last month. Not only was the restaurant gorgeous, but the wait staff was impeccable. From the moment we entered, through the amuse-bouche till last cognac, it was divine! The prime rib was picture perfect, nice and red and juicy, like in your restaurant dreams. The sides were perfect, the wine spot on, and dessert was heavenly. Our waiter made it all perfect, advising us immediately that if we wanted the prime rib to order it NOW and he’d put three aside for us as they don’t last at this special price, $39.95. He was right. We got there at 1730 and by 1815 they were OUT! It was a delightful meal, incredible service, and a memory to last a lifetime! Bravo, Chandler’s!

Decor just very cool and head swiveling. A little loud. Swift service--e.g. could have slowed but this is Friday nite so all forgiven. Oyster appetizer nice. Shared grilled Caesar salad perfect portion and nicely dressed. Filet hot rock steak simply "rocked" with peppercorn sauce. Side of Chile rilleno perfect: a twist on authentic new Mexican rilleno and really well prepared. Idaho trout on plank excellent as was chipotle rice. Broccoli could have been elevated. Maybe roast? Coconut flan plenty to share. Loved this dining experience.

I ate at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse on my last night in Boise. I got there at the tail end of happy hour and the place was packed. I found a seat at the bar and ordered the ribeye steak with baked potato and fire roasted corn. The ribeye was cooked perfect and extremely tender and juicy. It almost melted in my mouth. The corn and baked potato we're hot and fresh. The bartender was fast, friendly and kept my tea and water glass full. Excellent food and service. I definitely will go again.

Was looking forward to classic steakhouse and local feel. The local atmosphere was fine but the quality of the meal was poor. Not cooked to order, too fatty and baked potato (It is Idaho) and salad left me wondering if I should have visited a franchise restaurant instead. We apologize that your meal didn't meet expectation. Your meat should have absolutely been cooked to your preferred temperature, or at a minimum, been replaced with one that was. Thank you for dining with us and for providing feedback.
